Minnesotan Rambles About Minnesota For 10 Minutes
July 3rd-4th, 2023: In this video, I ramble about Minnesota, specifically the North Shore region of Lake Superior. I discuss the landscape, history, and much more, but only barely scrape the surface of what there is to talk about.
Some sites featured:
Minnesota Highway 61
Gooseberry Falls State Park
Split Rock Lighthouse State Park
Two Harbors
Tettegouche State Park - Palisade Head
Black Beach, Silver Bay
Note: The MN DNR database suggests that Minnesota has 14,380 lakes over 10 acres in size if you count lakes that cross the U.S. - Canada border and do not count a few lakes that are mostly in other states.

Never been to Minnesota but after your enthusiasm I feel the need to cheer Viva Minnesota!
Lake Superior in Michigan has always felt a little haunting to me but loved seeing it from a Minnesota perspective! Thanks for sharing! 😊
Very educational, nice job!
great work Benji 👍
Awesome video! I went to school in Marquette Michigannin the upper peninsula. I worked as a ranger in the Ottawa national forest when I was a student there one summer. Another summer a friend and I did a canoe camping trip on the boundary waters, and caught and are multiple fish. More recently did some sightseeing in the twin cities after visiting some old college friends in Wisconsin. Though never been to that north shore of MN I know it has the closest things to mountains in the Upper Midwest though.

To me, the Boundary Waters (outside of mosquito season) are one of the closest things to heaven we have in this world.
