    Dobbs didn't just come in and manage the game, he straight up won it for Minnesota. Add in the fact that this was against a good defense, on the road, WHILE not knowing the playbook or the receivers, and this has to be one of the most incredible performances in NFL history.

    As a Vikes fan, I was very happy with Dobbs, despite his fumbles. His running ability adds a new dimension to the Vikes offense. Gives defenses something else to worry about. But his poise under pressure was great at the end. He helped win us the ball game. I think Dobbs has earned the starting position. Thank you so much Arizona for the trade !!!

    MIN 4 game winning streak at the moment. Winning without Cousins on the road against a division leader is impressive. Dobbs had a nice game winner drive. Not bad after being traded. ATL the NFC South is still up for grabs despite this loss. Congrats on the win MIN 👍.

    I love the fight in Dobbs. He kept cardinals fighting till the end against the ravens last week and pulled this off with a brand new team less than a week later.

    Thats the crazy thing. Cardinals were literally trying to write the season off. Probably trade Murray if they could get something for him, probably planned on getting rid of Brown. Just tank the season they said, just get some QB here who hasn't played under this system and get rid of the ones who have. Then Dobbs came in and kept the shittiest team in the league in nearly every game they played, arriving a week before the season started.

    Dobbs and Brissett are two backup QBs who you just cant help but root for. I was a big fan of both in college and it's great to see these guys ball out when they get the chance. Kudos to Dobbs.     Go to like 14:05 , you can see Dobbs had Mattison open for potentially a TD but he took the more difficult option and still got the TD! What a player! Definitely needs to start moving forward for them, especially driving them down the field like that in the 4th.

    You're wrong. He took the best option. There was a defender flying to Mattison. Mattison would've been tackled near or behind the 1st down line.

    Great observation, but the defender behind Mattison was already on goal line trying to cover him, and Mattison would've had to juke him after the catch to get a TD there. Dobbs took the safer and sure option, thankfully these receivers are doing great job.

    The Vikings lose their best receiver and then their starting QB and they still keep winning. Dobbs did well considering he just arrived in MN. His scrambling was fun to watch and helped make a difference.

    Dobbs is a great example of the importance of mobility. Dobbs extended plays by being able to move around, and when he was flushed he usually gained a chunk with his legs.

    Joshua Dobbs is a native of Alpharetta, Georgia who played his football career at Alpharetta High School before going to Tennessee and then turn pro 6 years ago. He was traded from the Arizona Cardinals to the Minnesota Vikings this week. He played his first game as a member of the Minnesota Vikings. We have another Georgia native who happens to be Taylor Heinicke who is originally from Lawrenceville signed with his hometown Atlanta Falcons this week. Anyway, The Vikings manage to beat the Falcons today. We are happy to have Joshua Dobbs as a backup quarterback to Kirk Cousins who is currently injured.

    Excellent victory for the Vikings on the road over the Falcons. Pleasant surprise from the Viking's backup QB, a good runner and passer. We'll see in the coming weeks.

    Out new first round running back from Texas is the third best back on the roster. The draft decisions Atlanta makes to specifically not draft kids out of Georgia is mind boggling. TA is legit.

    The old Vikings would have lost this game. Not used to having a mobile QB like Dobbs besides Teddy and I love every bit of it. Dobbs has everything he needs to show the NFL what kind of QB he can truly be. Excited for next week now 😂

    They are the same Vikings. The defense is still horrible. Atlanta was able to throw and run against them. They should have worked on both lines and gotten real linemen

    since 2011 weve spent 8 first round picks on offense, these include julio, ridley, chris lindstrom, caleb mcgary, pitts, london, and bijan and we still manage to have our best player on offense be a free agent TE whos been in the league for longer than every one of the first round picks i just mentioned besides julio. There are no words I have to describe how we manage to lose practiacally every game in the 2nd half by one score.

This Kid Dobbs won the game for the Vikings 🏈.. So now you can see the difference with these younger Players.. Once again, no disrespect to Kirk Cousins..     It's completely bizarre to see our QB running and running well. No disrespect to Cousins but he's not a threat to do that. Cousins most likely wouldn't have resigned with the Vikes next year even if he hadn't been injured. If Dobbs keeps up like this, he's a keeper.

    As a Vikings fan, it is amazing to see how the coaching staff has changed the players mindsets. I remember 3-4 years ago where it seemed like 2-3 bad drives and the players were shot with no juice. The adversity they’ve handled and still have that fight in them, is really refreshing lol
