I am a Christian, I do pray, but in this case, my intellect just is not understanding why you would pray “ for a boy who is dead “. So, respectfully, I ask you to please explain……to enlighten me. Now……one point I might add, WooWoo : If you are of the Catholic religion, then I understand why you prayed. So, all you need to say in response to me is “ Catholic “. However, seriously, if you are not……then you evidently have some sort of reason floating in your head that simply is not connecting with my head, and I very honestly would APPRECIATE knowing where your thoughts are coming from. When a person has repeatedly lied about being improved in the past has a different pattern of behavior, already. It would be foolish to trust them.

What a strong and forthright Father this victim is! To the Magistrate who presided I say Thankyou for upholding the foundations of Justice within your legal system. These horrific crimes occur everyday, in every minute Worldwide. The ability for Parole to enter into the ‘whole’ sentencing negotiation process is obscene! I live in Australia and parole evaluations are conducted within the time served or prior to release. The DA & the parties address this at a Parole hearing. Heavier emphasis needs to be placed on the deterrence and public safety. More importantly, for victims not to fear reprisals when and if they are released prematurely. If it’s an economic consideration due to prison overcrowding, then give some people a job to construct more Gaols🤷🏼‍♀️ I’m sure tax payers would be more content knowing that they’re profits are being directed into ensuring ❤❤Life means Life; rather than having to feed a system that also applies their taxes to retrials, plea hearings and tolerance for killers😢 very disturbing.

Why is it when found guilty you can appeal the ruling but if innicent you cannot. Plea deals should be required to be approved by the victom or family.

This is the second time this month a judge has rejected a plea deal orchestrated by Moriarty’s office. Ahead of Monday’s hearing, Moriarty’s office argued that Braveheart was particularly amenable to probation, had a “lesser role” in the incident since he didn’t fire the fatal shot, and has made progress in treatment over the last four years.

After researching I am very happy the judge rejected the plea deal! Y’all who voted for this AG who ran on this nonsense of rehabilitating juveniles who commit cold blooded murder either were deceived or should be ashamed! Vote her out! For less violent crimes ..: I get it, but cold blooded murder because he is sorry and received counseling? Pure nonsense!

We had police come to our house at 3am when I was 13 to tell my parents my sister was killed by a drunk driver 3 hours away from home. I’m 58 and still fear police coming to my door with bad news. I feel for this family 😢😢 My sister was 19 and 2 weeks away from leaving to start College.
