Hi Amy I have a one year old female dachshund kc registered named Darcie honestly toilet training was the easiest thing I ever did but it's not always the same for everyone, I've just rescued a female dachshund who's 2 nxt month she was rescued from a puppy farm she had one litter at a very young age she was spade 3 months ago she is the sweetest thing ,she was starved and chained up all day for the most part ,she does have a couple of issues to overcome she's very territorial with toys and hates young men and large dogs 🐕 but with the help of a behaviourist we hope to overcome these , I have only had her since last Saturday and she loves my other dachshund already it was nice to hear its something you hope to do , we got her from dachshund rescue uk , love your channel love Jerry... Aw Jerry is so cute my bunny Splodgie was like a little doggie he had a pet bed from Aldi he loved to lay on inside and a blankie the amount of wallpaper he ate was ridiculous though we had to redecorate 😅😂💖

How would if you where a kid convince your parents if you have four dogs and a horse to get a dachshunds

Hi can you tell me if your dog is a barker? My boy barks at everything on a walk and lunges it looks and sounds terrible but off lead on a dog group he plays with the dogs and people. I just wondered if your jerry is like this x

yes my little boy daxi puppy was around £1000 and my little 2 girls daxi puppy was around £800 but if we got one it would be £400 but since they were the last 2 girls me and my sister and mum and dad thought we will get both because it might be better if we got them together still as twins sister as a family and did get them both from Whales in Swonsea and daxi for life love them so much they sooooo cute

You cant train a Dackel, he will train you. Since 50 years a have Teckels, thats the way the dachshund is called in germany a Dachs is a Badger. Greetings from germany

I answered the question of “would one suit a flat” - what else would you expect me to say? It is not the ideal environment for a dog, it is usually common that most leasehold agreements say for the exact reasons I outlined that if you live there you couldn’t have a pet anyway. It was the hardest thing training a puppy even with a abundance of space and garden so I can only imagine it would be 10x harder/nearly impossible with no outdoor space. I was highly respectable and said if the flat was large then maybe it would work, also some flats are ground floor and have a garden attached so definitely having a dog in a flat is not a “no”, but a “probably not a good idea” for you or the dog. I really shouldn’t have had to explain myself beyond what I said in a video. That is fact.

I have to agree with this comment. This gave me bad vibes, it was mainly the attitude for me, especially a flat not being suitable for a cat. I have a very happy house cat in a flat. Just remember, not everyone is as fortunate in life as you.

I have to agree with Aimee on this. She answered the question based off facts and personal opinion, but did mention some possibilities where a dog in a flat would possibly work.
