Say what you will about it’s impact on pop culture but the first Despicable Me was a good little movie about single parenthood and I hate that everyone seems to forget it 😔

I watched the first Despicable Me movie and thought "what a cute movie, but I wish those minions weren't in it". Little did I know...

I love that this episode was originally called Minions is Hell bc both titles are incredibly accurate

I've listened to this ep a lot on Spotify when I'm driving. This episode is just a delight, I really enjoy this one!

Other Zach and Kelsey are trying so hard to hate. Minions are a world wide breakout hit. You don't have to love it, but there is a charm to it. Also Zach is forever 'other Zach' from now on haha

Lol Other Zach wasn’t trying that Hard to hate it. He had a lot more positives than Kelsey. And didn’t give it an outright Guilty maybe at worst Guilty Pleasure

I believe Bowies eye is the result of an injury from childhood. Minions are a genius marketing idea. If they animate Charlie and The Chocolate Factory, they could probly redesign the Oompa Loompas to be almost as popular.

Here’s the plot of lady minions, The lady Minions will be the same except they have to support a hero, and they will meet the boy minions while serving their master to defeat the Gru.

Pretty sure it's mentioned in Despicable Me that the Minions were created in a lab by Gru. Continuity errors like that usually bother me (especially since I really like Despicable Me 1 + 2), but I guess since the creators don't give a shit, then neither should I lol

The first Despicable Me is actually pretty wholesome as it's about single parenthood. But I guess the minions just had to be the center piece now.

was not expecting zach to be so aggressively pro-minion. but i WAS, much like kelsey, expecting other zach to be as aggressively pro-minion.

Recommendation for an episode: please review Ready Or Not. It is one of my favorite movies and I think Zach especially will love it (this movie has similar vibes to Drag Me to Hell). It’s a over the top ridiculous comedy horror movie. It’s silly, it’s violent, and it has a very strong eat the rich message.

My husband’s cousin had a kid that only spoke like a minion for like 4 years until his litter sister started speaking english. He loved the minions so much he literally would not speak english.

As a Brit who is, let's say, not exactly fond of the royal family and the people of the UK's opinions on how great they think they are, I really hope that the "king Bob!" Moment is a parody of that 🤣

THANK YOU for reviewing this particular guilty pleasure movie. This movie is such a guilty pleasure I cannot even discuss it in public...with friends! People are aghast, horrified and even angry that I love this movie. I get blank looks as if I have mentioned the unthinkable, the unimaginable and that which should not be spoken aloud. Admittedly I have only seen the 2015 movie not the 2022 film "The Rise of Gru". So perhaps my guilty pleasure remains with the 2015 movie. BTW I have posted a link to this review on my FB page. Now yes, I am hardly ever on FB, (aka the Meta-verse, who says MK isn't delusional and narcissistic), but small steps towards admitting my feelings, right?

I never understood the hype of minions media, but I visited my family in Mexico and we took my younger cousins to see it and…let me tel you. Watching that movie in Spanish made me laugh way more than I should’ve. I understand now 🫂
