MinimumRC Spitfire Build and Maiden Flight

Ғылым және технология

If you're looking for a quick build model for the park that looks pretty good and flies just as well you could do a lot worse than ordering the MinimumRC Spitfire. The actual maiden flight is at 8:40 in the video. There are other planes in the range to check out as well, see links below.

    @@farhadshafai3011 You may be able to replace the battery with a heavier one if you can find one, it's still adding weight but in a good way, you'll probably find it flies better with a slightly heavier wing loading anyway, especially in the wind 🤔

    Any idea why there are two different brands of glue included? Also, I beveled my cuts - i think the hinge method might be cleaner. Do the hinged parts really only move 5mm in each direction?

  • @CliffHarveyRCPlanes

    @CliffHarveyRCPlanes

    3 жыл бұрын

    Hi Frige, the 'UFO' is an all purpose glue suitable for foam and the other I think was cyano (ca) although I can't remember using any off hand. Regarding the hinge method whatever works best for you really. 5mm is fine for the elevator throw but for better rolls go for a bit more on the aileron athough 5mm is fine as a starting point, some flyers like more throw than others of course.
