@@Molle7098 Not really. The pacing of his videos is jarring. Having Simon react and pause for commentary/questions helps slow it down and make it feel like less of a fever dream. I'm also well beyond his target audience.

The pacing of his videos honestly makes them unwatchable without someone like Simon pausing for commentary/questions. We in America don't build houses like you do in the UK. That's not surprising since we have one thing you don't and that is trees everywhere! The reason the UK has brick houses is simply because you don't have another option. Any country that still has their Forest intact build their houses out of wood it's just the way it goes!

@@MysticMarble really tell me exactly how big your Lumber industry is when it comes to felling trees because all your Forest are planted because you literally cleared the entire fucking island of all of its trees! The UK and most of Western Europe completely clear-cut just about everything! Here in the United States we did the same thing the only difference is we're hell of a lot bigger with a hell of a lot more forested and we also have 35% more trees now than we did 100 years ago. The simple fact is this in the United States we have access to an almost unlimited supply of Cheap Building Materials whereas if the UK wanted to build houses out of wood they would have to import it! I mean seriously bucket just do the math United Kingdom has roughly 3 billion trees the United States has roughly 230 billion trees! For every tree you have we have fucking 75!

Oh and lest we forget when it comes to Lumber and the United States don't forget we have a very good friend just next door to us called Canada. They represent another 320 billion trees! The simple fact is there's a reason why North America has a massive Lumber industry and the UK does not....hell go to Scandinavia and what did you find a massive Lumber industry and Russia Lumber industry North America Lumber industry why because we have fucking trees. the simple fact is these places have forests that stretch beyond your ability to see even if you're at 10,000 ft in an airliner. The UK does not and that's just a fact so get the fuck over it! I mean seriously that Island was fully forested South of Scottish Highlands back in the day and you freaking cut down every tree that was there.

Depends on where you live in the US. I grew up in South Florida and all houses are made of either bricks or concrete blocks, for obvious reasons. A couple hurricanes a year!
