Wow, never in my years on this earth, did I expect such a powerful performance, from an AMATEUR actor. When Lud said “The coordinates are at the bottom of the lake”, it sunk my heart, as it reflected the game of life. You have to reach rock bottom, to truly find out where life leads you. Honestly I can see why Mr. Beast scrap this one. The idea is so unfitting to the usual fast paced Mr.Beast video standart, it's missing alot of story. His other videos, for me always had no problem sending so much information in that kind of pacing. Still, I'm amazed by the fact he said no to this, what a madlad. Truly one of the Beast of all time. I can see why Jimmy wasn't happy with this video, because it seems so extremely fast paced that even amazing things didn't mean that much. A REAL WORKING LIGHTSABER took up only like 45 seconds. The world's heaviest sumo wrestler only took 30 seconds.

All Mr Beast videos are this exact pace and it's one of the elements that make the videos good, they don't dwell on stuff longer than they have to just because they spent money on a big prop or something. I think he scrapped it because certain things didn't really end up being as exciting as some of the other stunts/events that happen in his other videos. Like the glue floor bit is a little dull. The working lightsaber part is REALLY COOL as a device, but it's not really that exciting watching them use it because it basically is just a blow torch. The dropping of the cars doesn't really add much nor does the "jail time" part shortly after. The Sumo Wrestler didn't really do anything. It's not that he was only in it for 30 seconds, it's that those 30 seconds weren't really used for anything that great. Nolan being buried alive is a nice callback to a prior Beast video but it doesn't really add much to the challenge. And Ludwig being in it is a fun reveal the first time he appears but after that Ludwig doesn't really get to do much. So i think it's just one of those things where all the ideas sounded good on paper but it just didn't really play that well in practice. The stunts/bits didn't have the same wow factor other ones in other Beast videos had.

A working lightsaber is dope, but felt underwhelming because it didn't get hyped up or much attention. The glue floor is such a fun idea, I actually loved that one. The sunken ship part was cool, but the divers were in and out in just a second (which is understandable, since they're not professional divers). It felt like everything was underwhelming because the video didn't give it the time to hype it up and showcase how cool it was. Too many things were crammed into a 10 minute video, so the coolness-factor of each thing suffered because of it. I think they SHOULD "dwell" on things longer. it'd make everything seem much more significant and cool (And none of this is to mention the societal issue of short attention spans due to content like this but that's a whole other pedantic topic)

I wish the sumo part was better done, but the rest wasn't too bad. Perhaps using a real brand new car to get crushed was kind of wasteful but I guess it adds to the excitement.

Mr.Beast considered this vid a failure and it became Ludwig's most viewed vid, that is insane black air force energy.

The fact 1 year later this is ludwig's most viewed video and is over 2x more viewed than his next most viewed video but Jimmy just gave it away is crazy

I've gotta say, so proud of lud for going out of his comfort zone and making good content for once

Of course any other KZreadr would upload it, MrBeast said it cost a million dollars to make. The average KZreadr wouldn’t spend that much on one video. Even people like Ludwig who got paid tens of millions to move to KZread from Twitch, that’s still like 1/10th of that money gone which could’ve funded several other projects

It’s literally 1 year since this video is uploaded and it’s now the most viewed video on Ludwig’s channel, MrBeast videos literally gets all of the views no matter the channel it’s uploaded on
