YES! 🙌🏼😀 This exactly what happened to me when I went to Australia a a few years ago, I had two packing cubes of clothes and didn't miss anything that I left at home. When I came back I realised everything in my room had just been sat there unused in all that time and I hadn't missed it at all so I decluttered loads of it and have never looked back. It's funny because I think we all feel we're attached to our belongings and it would be too hard to let go, but it's not until you travel with less that you realise you don't need that much and that happiness doesn't come from our possessions. ❤️

Word ❤️
My son basically lives out of his backpack. He has no belongings, except what he can put in his bag. And he loves his life right now. We can surprise ourselves what we can actually live with
I'm planning an "I'm never going home" wardrobe to live on the road indefinitely. Lots of food for thought here... thank you 🤍
Please make a video about your wardrobe decluttering!

I definitely will, and thank you so much!
I love buying stuff secondhand but I always think like 'the people who donated/sold the things are now buying new stuff they actually don't need because the stuff they donated/sold were still fine to use themselves.' I know it's not always the case but I definitely think some people just give things away to buy more new things, you know what I mean?

I definitely see your point, I think about it a lot. A major reason why second hand shops can provide me with amazing things is because other people consume and buy unconsciously all the time, it's sort of a sad paradox
Nice video Gittemary!! I was just thinking that I remember you wearing more colorful pieces and looking so fresh and happy so I hope you’ll keep just a few of them to have fun and style your black wardrobe every now and then!! :D
Yes, a Video about your body change would be great. I could need some tips and motivation! Love your channel!!
Great video. I had the same experience when I travelled to Germany for 3 weeks and had to live out of a small suitcase (instead of the usual big one I would take). I now have a much more minimal wardrobe and have created my own "uniform".
"makes me look like a person and not like a brick!" Hahaha that's my new favorite criteria for all my clothes! Love this :) (Always watch, rarely comment, but you're amazing!)

ahh I love all of these pieces! you look so good in black! I have yet to find a good pair of jeans thrifting 😅
I would love to watch a fitness journey type of video if you want to share your story. :)
Gittemary, you look so great. I used to watch you yrs ago and must've gotten unsubscribed from you somehow. I just found your channel again. You look amazing and I'm glad to see you again. xo, SS
Loved this video darling. More videos please.
This is why I love festivals fx, I don't miss anything! And if I would want to read a book or something, I'll just pick one up from the thrift store, and then pass it on to someone else.

Thank you so much :) !
I think we're all pretty conditioned about misconception that things will make us happy, which leads onto many of us owning and acquiring lots of stuff. I plan to downsize/declutter my wardrobe too - secondhand shopping is my weakness. Do you have a number of items in your wardrobe that you're aiming for? I've seen some very minimalist wardrobes with 25 pieces and I'm not sure I'd be able to do that. Maybe something to work towards! Our wardrobes are literally the opposite. Mine is predominantly prints and colour! Thanks for sharing.

There is so much truth in that!
Can you make videos about your decluttering process?

Have you though to open a podcast channel? That would be amazing!! 😊 Thank you for all the inspirational videos! Keep that way! 🤗

Owning more flowy items, especially tops so you do not have to wash them every time you wear them. And owning little jeans/bottoms, small number of jumpers and shoes (stuff you dont have to wash), but allowing yourself more tops, underwear etc. that you need to wash each time you wear it.
Look out Justine Leconte's channel fo capsule wardrobe tips. She's GREAT
I also just buy second hand eccept for undies... Where do you get those? Do you also buy those new of fair or... Pls help 😂😘

Demelza Kane there’s Etsy stores that make them from fabric scraps but there’s also pact which is an eco minded brand that makes their products from mainly bamboo fiber
im trying to put something together for on the street while looking for apt.canadian winters...clothes are so heavy...what to carry in...medium size wheels suitcase.i cant lighten up or freeze......if you get a decent winter coat they lean on you so you have to give it up in the places.they put things in your food or drink so you cant walk.......5feet 7 clothes take more space.cant have 2 jeans can only have 1,or its too heavy.cant dress up or nothing........what the best carrying cases ,let me know.......im very weak, sometimes storage is not an option, got to dress up for dates......I cant find the perfect travelling bags for city bus streetcar travel and in winter.
Love to see how you lost weight
