It is still impossible to reduce the number of USB cables needed for camera, mobile phone, tablet, camera battery charger, battery pack and the charger for then all and for the electric tooth brush and shaver. Non-electronic activities! I get headaches if I’m on a screen for too long so I bring books and a blanket📚

When I plan a trip I write in the Notes app everything I'm going to pack. After travelling I take my list and classify every item in colors: RED, I didn't use it; ORANGE, I used it but it's not essential; GREEN, used and useful. It's very basic but it really works for me! Thanks to that I downsized A LOT and now I travel lighter 😊

great idea! I used notes to check off stuff as I pack after every stop - to make sure I'm not forgetting stuff. But never thought to color code for the next trip.

As someone who travels quite a bit, it's good to see I'm not the only one putting the clothes I'm gonna wear on the day to the ground ready to go. Thank you! This was a lovely video! So calming, moslty cause travelling sure is not. Gives me anxiety when people say they pack last minute in a hurry.

Thank you for sharing this. I remember one year I stayed over at a friends house it was for a week I packed tons of movies and tons of clothes. I over packed packed my suitcase I'm learning from the mistakes I made this was years ago when this happened. And learning from others is very helpful to me love your videos

I only travel outside the UK for holidays, so my travel essentials are to use within the country. My Uniqlo puffer jacket packs into a tiny bag. Even when i'm not hiking I take walking boots because my feet get sore when walking for more than a couple of hours, and i'm usually on my feet all day in London (plus blister plasters). My iPad with Netflix films downloaded so i don't need wifi access as UK train Wifi can be poor. A USB powerbank as my iPhone battery dies during the day and i've had to find a cafe in London to recharge before, so annoying. Small first aid kit and resuscitation mask unless i have to perform CPR (you just never know). Some plastic sandwich bags for emergencies (wet clothes/liquid leaks). This is odd, but if i'm away for more than a couple of days and staying in a hotel I take a lunch container, rubber rollup chopping board, penknife and reusable cutlery as i often make a few meals when travelling to save on takeouts. So I pick up sandwich or salad supplies from the supermarket and prepare food in my room, especially if it only needs to last 24 hours. My sunglasses, forgotten before and regretted. Ear plugs in case my hotel room is next to noisy guests, as was my issue on my last trip in September.

I use packing cubes to pack compact, and vacuum bags for bulky items. You don’t even need a vacuum cleaner to get the air out, which is great!

Love how efficient this is

I have a few dust bags I’ve been keeping bc they’re good quality and using them for shoes is now going to be my go to use for them other than my smaller bag I put my laptop charger in!

Ugh, I’m currently away and I have packed waaau too much. I actually overpack all the time! On my 7 week honeymoon my bags held me back so much. I was overwhelmed by my “just in case” clothes and I never wore half my shoes! What I actually did use could have fit in a carry on easily.

I find it a lot easier to store items vertically so I can see them! That’s really hard to do with packing cubes :)

Was wondering the same thing. Instead of the drawstring where you have to fish out underwear - a packing cube makes it easy to see them all in one swoop.

my toiletries bag is twice that size...need to bring a hair brush, detangling comb (curly hair), dry shampoo, regular shampoo and conditioner, shower cap, flat iron, etc

Mine is great for the way there, but hell when I try to pack to go back!

For $325???? I got a nice one at Winners for $69 and it has lasted me for years, travelling six months in each year. KZreadrs get them for free just to promote them. Just cause they’re trendy, doesn’t mean you have to go along with it.

where u get that backpack? i need that one, re share again sorry keep sharing for get to add stuff, and i love it so organized wish i can be a Minimalist but i love over pack cause sorry for one ur comment is long but i go every year to down Jersey shore for a month of August from Arizona to see family and i am always over packer!! :( what your thought for next year? we dont have a wash dryer so we take to my uncle and sometimes we wont get back in a day or two sometimes we have wait for week or weekend to get back so hopefully they hook up the new one this summer, but mean time i am ordering our self a portable washer bag things bring for us usually 80 and humid if that helps and i do wear same thing but few days later cause you dont see other people again on trips and any thing else we just lounge around house boat rides and walk up beach and shop with aunt on weekends if that help

my fav fit if you don't know what to wear: a sleeveless shirt a hoodie on top some sweatpants or shorts or anything comfy depending on the time of the year you're going in some comfy shoes no heels try not to wear boots headphones and you're good to go

I know you didn't show everything in your liquids bag but I hope there was sunscreen and moisturizer!

What carry-on luggage is good to buy?

I just used this folding method to fold my clothes for my next trip and I will NEVER fold/roll my clothes any other way!
