Sharing tips that helped me get started with minimalism. Enjoy!
I want a easier less busy life. As I get older I have less desire and energy to keep things up.

I hear you, Joyce. I feel the same way.
As I look at your home, I am reminded of homes from the 60s. In certain ways, life was simpler.
This was the perfect video on minimalism. I am on my 5th year of being minimal. When I look at your home, it reminds me so much of my home. It’s just such a peaceful way to live, and only living with what you love and need. What really amazes me is now I’m such a mindful shopper, I will see something and think of buying it, and 9 out of 10 times I put it back..love your content, and I enjoy your peaceful vibe 😀

I don't know when Minimalism started on line. I wish I would have known about it sooner to save money and hassles especially with moving. I am just thankful that I know about it now. I understand that it is different for everyone and that it is a learned process. I am always proud of the people that learn early in life. Thanks for teaching.

Hi Jean ! Welcome fellow survivor!! Great question. Like most things with TBI, take it slow. To avoid overwhelming feelings, only do one or two folders (or stacks) a day. Don't try to tackle the entire filing cabinet. With each folder you complete you will feel empowered to continue. Little wins = Big wins. I'm so glad you are part of our mindful community!! Sending you happiness & peace
being an older widowed woman it seems minimalizing is different for me. Im on a fixed income trying to readjust without my husband. if you have any ideas regarding a situation like mine i would like hear about them. thank you!

Hi Catherine, I'm sorry to hear of your lose. Adjusting your entire way of life must be challenging. Give yourself compassion on this new journey. Minimalism works hand-in-hand with a fixed budget. I always being with asking myself, "what do I value most?" and "what is a need item vs want item?" When creating a monthly budget put your NEED items first (food, lights, housing) and then work your way down. When it comes to "fun" items think of the items that align with your values (health, social, gardening). Honor where ever you are at today. Be kind to yourself. Sending you happiness & peace
Silly question……where do you buy your tee shirts
Where do you get your tee shirts? They look comfortable but not sloppy.

Keepsake are very special to us. I recommend setting them aside for now and begin with les sentimental things. I made a video on how to let go of things kzread.info/dash/bejne/i41nmcWCotfgh7Q.html I hope you find it useful.
I was shocked at the first time knowing that you people in US or any other first world country or rich person has many many stuffs, then some of you trying minimalist lifestyle by decluttering your stuffs. But again, even if you already decluttering your stuffs, you still have much more stuffs than us here in third world country or average person.

Thank you so much for adding your very valuable perspective! In the western culture many of us are fortunate enough to have an abundance of items. I strive to grow as an individual and love living with less. Sending you happiness and peace!
