Good morning! This is a bit of a lengthy video so we’ve added time stamps in the description box for anyone who doesn’t wanna listen to me waffle on for 41 minutes about bags 😂 You can skip to a certain budget category or a specific brand if you wish 👍🏼 On another note, there were so many more brands I could have included in this video and believe me I spent hours going through them all but I only wanted to feature brands which I have either already spent my own money on OR brands that I am genuinely considering buying from and not just a load of brands that I wouldn’t, just for the sake of it. You do know creators monetise videos? I don’t mind adds as I know my favourite creator is getting some £. Do you create for free?

I also love leather bags with little to no branding and being front the USA, my all time favorite bags are vintage Coach. They are beautiful, come in all different sizes and gorgeous colors, and have stood the test of time. I just love them!

Shoutout to Emma for not putting filter on top of filter on top of filter, on her videos. I love actually seeing her face (which is gorgeous). Thank you for staying so grounded and REAL. Rock on, sis! 🤘🏽🤙🏽👊🏽

This is my first (but not the last) purchase of a D U P B A G Y bag. For the affordable price, it exceeded my expectations! It's soft, the perfect size, and the color is gorgeous! Love this bag!

Thank you so much for this Emma. You have some of the best quality content on KZread and I appreciate all the effort you put in. I also appreciate how you "guide" us on your beautiful minimalistic classic fashion without it feeling like you're forcing your style on us. For someone like me who's slowly revamping their wardrobe (I'm trying to curate a similar style as yours as I'm SO attracted to it) but I'm trying to do so mindfully - you've been such a godsend. Also I was SO PROUD OF MYSELF, when you were about to mention the 3rd luxury bag brand and I said out loud "Loewe" the same time you did (yes, I was that nerd in class back in school lol), and was more proud when you said that the general public aren't familiar with the brand's logo and that usually it's the fashion savvy who know it. Thank you Emma, you have taught me well!

Was literally on a hunt for a good minimal/timeless bag ! Fell in love with Celine bags (especially your sangle) but I just can’t justify the price... same goes with the triumph. thanks so much for this video :)

As a regular laptop user i don't recommend leather bags they are already heavy without putting anything in, even heavier they have lots of hardware. It will add a lot of weight on your shoulders and back if you have to carry it for a long period of time. Non-leather, water proof and light weight material i think are key to the design of a proper laptop bag. I have the Samsonite rucksack by SJP and another rucksack from Scandi brand Rain (both quite minimal in terms of aesthetics) and they are very good for laptop users.

Do you find that non-leather materials of the backpacks rub against your outerwear? I travel for work a lot and I've given up on backpacks as they all ruin my work outerwear (blazers, trench coats, wool coats etc.) and make terrible bobbling patches on them especially at the back from rubbing.

@@prdaAndy Not those backpacks i have, but i find wool jackets/coats/blazers naturally just bubble because of the material. My outerwear is mostly cotton and down (colder months) i don't purchase wool outerwear as much as i used to.

I recently bought myself the Coach Shay crossbody in Wine. It is absolutely beautiful, has very very subtle branding and is that pebbled leather. I bought it for £150 in the sale and honestly it feels more luxe than some of my more expensive bags. The stitching is perfect and it has a proper slouch to it. I’ve never bought to buy Coach because it’s not been my vibe but the Shay is so timeless, I couldn’t help myself haha.

Hi Emma, really loved the video, you actually brought the joseph slouch bag on my radar, I am only waiting for the perfect colour to take the plunge. A note on Aesther Ekme (actually really glad this brand gets more attention recently, since their bags are beautiful and well crafted): I own one of their older styles in a dark brown colour, the bag is stunning, so is the colour and the craftmanship. The only "downside" I would say is the leather. It is very high quality but also prown to scratches,. This is actually holding me back of buying the sac, because I don't known if I would take scratches well if I would use it as my daily work bag, am thinking of adding another smaller bag of theirs though. Definitely a recommendation for that brand though!

Loved this video, have been contemplating a Polene bag and so was really glad to see it featured. Gave me more confidence to purchase from them. Will be looking to see if I can find one second hand first though.

Really great video Emma, I think one I I will continue to refer to, every price point you can too, I always feel m&s is over looked, and sometimes I have a look. The bags are always nice leather. I’m so late! A really interesting video and love that you gave options for all budgets. The high end ones are beautiful, and I agree with you about Loewe their branding is really discreet and I love that. One day I might take the plunge. Polene keeps coming up on IG ads so was interested to hear your thoughts about them, they have some lovely options. ❤️

The APC Sarah bag is very minimal and a great alternative to the Celine trio (though it only has 2 compartments). I have it in black and really love how classic but minimal it is. Got mine secondhand NWT on Vinted too!

Hey! I actually bought this bag brand new last month but have put it on eBay as the zips feel stiff on mine and kind of eat my hand every time I take something out! (And I think I have quite small hands!!). Has yours loosened up? I love it so would keep if it will soften and get easier to use! Thanks x

OMG! Such a great video! I've been on hunt for minimal designer small bag for while now and due to limited budget I'm looking itno second hand market. My favourite brand is Polene Paris, I just love design of "Numero un" series. I'm still torn between mini bag and mini backpack, which I want in grey and hopefully they will come up with this shade.

I find the brand Uterqüe a surprisingly cool but rather neglected brand in Fashionland . And their bags are also fab. From showpony to very minimal, there is something for everyone. And vintage Delvaux is another favorite leathergoods brand of mine.

I loved their tote bags from like 8 years ago, but they have changed them a bit now and don't offer that tall slouchy style anymore that I wear to death. Their style offerings in the last few years just don't do it for me.

I love my APC bag! Been loving the Demi lune style! But I’m also looking to get the Grace once I can save up :)
