The only thing I would add to this video is these dogs watch everything you do and learn your behaviors. They study your movements and behaviors. I don’t even have to tell my mini what to do. A simple hand movement works. He knows our routines.

Right now we are heartbroken with the lose of our angel but this video helps give hope that some day we can own another and have that special love and feeling again.

I’m so sorry for the loss of your furry family member. I was on this site looking up this breed as I am unfamiliar with them. An out of state friend is giving us her puppy because of time and work related travel. I lost my beloved Maltese in March, 4 days before his 13th birthday 🌈💔. Although excited about the new puppy it all feels bitter sweet as I think about my boy every day.

We got one of these a few weeks ago. I never liked the hair style of the poodle, but our puppy is adorable! She looks like a little teddy bear and is one of the best dogs I ever had. She is learning house training quickly, can do all kinds of tricks, and is great with the kids. I love this dog!

I have a miniature poodle, he absolutely hates water, won’t swim at all. He is extremely calm all the time and never barks at all. He’s so fast he caught a squirrel before, he didn’t kill it just chased it until it couldn’t run anymore and then just sniffed it’s butt as it was breathing rapidly on the ground. He’s extremely intelligent and never mis behaves.

My GFs cockapoo is the biggest grudge holding dog I've ever seen. She's an absolute sweetheart until you give her a bath or take her to the groomer then she gives you dirty looks and goes and sits on the end of the couch by herself. It's insane how smart the breed is though for having such a small head.. They are very observant and in touch with what's happening around them like If I move and put my shoes on she jumps up and knows we are going to the park.

I adopted my miniature poodle from a local shelter he was 4-5 yrs old. I had him for 14 yrs and he lived to be 18-19 yrs old. I believe he came from a home where someone was abused. He became very agitated if my husband handed something to me or if anyone came near me. He was overly protective of me. When it was just he and I, he was very well behaved. I would get another poodle without hesitation.

When they go on the carpet tell them firmly no. Don't shout. Then put them outside. Establish a routine, take them out at the same times every day and just stand there until they go. Don't play with them, just stand there and watch. Even if it takes an hour or more. Then when they do eventually go, give them tons of praise! They'll soon learn what's in their interests, poodles are super smart. Good luck! 🐩

She even wakes us up in the night and lets us know she needs to go out, if she gets caught short, does not happen often. Our biggest problem was not reading her signals, if we had noticed I doubt we would have had any accidents.
