Awesome to see a guy who is content and happy with his life, not to mention very skilled with good taste in vehicles. Thanks for showing it off.
When they come back to you, you know they were meant to be yours. You've got some pretty cool projects going there.
You can never have enough projects its like the one who dies with the most toys wins👍
I agree that visor is what makes it with those rims. Work of art
I absolutely love your builds you do fantastic work. The amount for projects is crazy.
That 46 is just a really cool ole truck!
that truck definitely has some history...wow. being an Ohioan that lives about 60 miles from Toledo that truck has definitely seen more of the country than I ever hope to!! Amazing.
Always have something to look forward to, never finish all of them, it will keep you young
What a cool old truck
I'm from ohio and it must of left within 10yrs of its start of life to be that clean.
I love that you know what's important in a truck! 12 valve Cummins will outlast us all.
I have a 1953 dodge that was my great grandfathers truck, this is exactly what I want to do with it. When I used to watch Steve on tv I always wanted him to build it. I think it’s great watching you all here on KZread so much better. Thanks for showing that beautiful truck off Merlin.
I waited years to see this video. I love that truck tks
Love all the trucks you have, reminds me when I was a boy on my Grandfathers farm , he had a truck like that, had racks on the sides. & hauled grain in sacks.
You are definitely different. Plus your vehicles are cool as hell.
Your parent's named you right, you are a wizard merlin! thanks for sharing.
I also went to oilfields in n Dakota after 08. Sold everything. Spent my adult life in AZ running concrete pumps. Did a lot of work in Havasu
That truck is just a thing of beauty. 120 degrees damn here in wv it was 97 last week and the humidity was over 90 you could just hear vehicles rusting
I’ve always wanted to take either a 2010 f350 four door short bed and put a 5.9 cummins in it, or build a single cab long bed 80’s square body chevy and put a 5.9 cummins in it, I think it would be a cool build, and a great power house, but not to flashy so that the cops don’t bat an eye at you when your running down the highway a little to fast😂
I used live over the hump in Pahrump back in 99-01 had move back home take care bunch rentals I owned until the 08 crash lost most everything then had neck crushed had sell the rest to cover surgery,s now at 63 just living month to month got a old rv cheep 5 yrs ago its got the 454 with 55,600 original miles I got service breaks shocks & put the new tires on & if gas ever goes down I'm headed back west !
I love your 46. What a great truck.
I enjoy ll your videos. As a retired shop teacher I thought your mentoring videos were excellent. I would love to see a walk around on your tow truck.

Actually use to live in Havasu back in 1973 on the island in a travel trailer with no A/C in August, the park was across the street from the air port before they moved it. Now live up in Mesa so yea I know how hot it gets there. Another great video Merlin.

I would love to have one of those old trucks , just love the look of them. The '46 is awesome
Merlin that is a nice 46', as usual I have a story, I traded a go-kart engine for mine, 46 Chevy 1/2 ton I was 17 at the time, Other than a switch to 12 volt the truck stayed stock, I hauled fire wood, dirt and every thing else I could get in the bed. I sold it ten years later to help pay for college, I miss that truck.
She’s a beauty…
So many cool build and projects we need some 3 wheeler build videos and a little series on them 40s half ton pickups 👍🇺🇸
120 is sweater weather in my part of AZ
Merlin has some skills love the trucks all of em .
That 46 Chevy has a hell of a history and has definitely been a workhorse. My Buddy Jack made that move out to Havasu and that first summer plaid hell on him I'm not sure how he is fairing this year.

WOW sweet truck......
Ya have a whole herd of 46 Fire breathing Dragons. Very Kewl.
That's one sweet flatbed.
Thanks for filming!!!
Merlin, I gotta say, I'm so sad that I didn't find your channel sooner. I'm enjoying your creativity and ability so much. I'm 80 years old and never had the time or opportunity to do what you have done. I'm in awe of what you are able to do. I only wish that I was 50 years younger and lived in Havasu so that I could follow you around. I got sort of close to your rod building while selling tools for almost 40 years in So. Cal. I met a lot of great car builders but none that could do it all as you do. Even doing your own upholstery, WOW! I love that you use diesels in so many of your projects. Love them Cummins motors. I hope someday before I die that I can make a run to Havasu and just come see you and your shop.
Inspiring me to get a 72 f100 to put coyote engine and a crown Vic front suspension
LOVE this build !!!
love the hot weather
You have a nice collection of trucks, you'll always have something to do.

It's not blessed. Its trial and error 6 million times over years of trying and not sitting on couch wishing. You have to put your hands on something. Lol
