Mini Running session - favourite rake of wagons?
Another quick runnning session this week, time is in short supply as ever here at Colwich…
One of my favourite rakes is my mixed EWS ballast train, there’s only a couple of Hornby “seacows” in this consist, I’ve got a few more awaiting some weathering to be applied. Mixed in with a few Hornby & Accurascale MHAs
Seeing as class 66s are on everyone’s mind at the moment I thought it would be good to run (a very clean) 66 612 with a short, but weathered & tagged HIAs complete with flashing tail lamp.
What’s your favourite rake of wagons I’d love to know?

Thanks Stuart, yes graffiti really can divide opinions as I’ve seen on a few high profile channels where some of the comments have got out of hand! I’ve kinda done what I set out to do with the tags for now, there’s been no great urge to do anymore. The recent MGR rake is completely graffiti free! Not that long ago there was a cracking rake of cappagh JNA wagons held at a red signal down at the junction, they looked mint, fresh out of the paint shop😍 Next time I saw them they were ruined, completely covered in graffiti & tagged all over…. Nice, the hoods & coil ones I’m guessing👍 I’ve not gone down that route, but I definitely admire those heavy trains. They not a thing I see at the real Colwich, pity as there’s plenty of variety here, just no steel! Thanks for the support Darrell🙏👍
So relaxing watching this, my grandson likes the scenery on your layout. He spent all day yesterday creating his latest bit of nonsense... Cheers James 🙂👍

Tell him to keep up the good work James, his vids are brilliant! I’ve been laughing at the Liberty junction stylee one he’s just done, so funny. Dave has really been a breath of fresh air to me, so for him to be slightly done is brilliant it really is. Decent🤣 Cheers James

@colwichjunction3366 Thank you, John. We enjoy watching Double O Dave as well. He's so entertaining, but after he stole our custard storage tank and totally denied it, he became afair game for my grandson. He spent all day filming like an absolute mad man...cheers James 😁👍
