Mini Rocket Stove - Fire from Earth 3 Ways

Ойын-сауық

We made a mini rocket stove from clay we made out of the dirt. We actually made a pizza oven and simple rocket stove from raw clay soil and also refine the soil and make a proper clay. Really, what can't you do once you've got clay and fire? Clay makes an oven, an oven fires clay, the clay makes a rocket stove, and on and on it goes.......
Also, have you heard about the OFF GRID HOMESTEAD CAMPOUT!? There is one or two more spots available for you and you're family: www.gridlessness.com/
and IG: / gridlessness
Made your own clay from raw soil? Made a rocket stove? Let us know, leave a comment, subscribe and join the adventure.

About 50 years ago I had a belt buckle from Mexico a friend bought for me, and it had a scorpion somebody had placed in a hard plastic clear substance, I believe now is a clear Apoxsee. Maybe the girls could do something like that for pendants or bracelets or belt buckles or something else. I’m sure they would sell as a novelty item. Best of luck. Stay safe God bless. 🇨🇦✌️

Native americans would fire their pottery in a whole dug in the ground, with many layers of dung, dry grasses, alternating on top of eachother until the whole is filled. light it and, cover with dirt. If you put metalic glazes on the pottery, you get some spectacular smoky looking color mixes in the pottery.

I think the bricks you had next to the mini rocket would be sucking the heat out of your megacup. If you had small bricks for the cup support that sat the cup slightly closer to the chimney top, you’d have a pretty impressive setup for the size of that thing.

You guys are always doing something cool and interesting. Is there a reason Mexicans put dead critters in their drinks? I've drank tequila with a worm in the bottle but never seen a scorpion in a drink. When my local bar also sold live bait on the side, sometimes we would slip a minnow into someone's beer but that was just for laughs. Have safe travels kids.

Most of the coffee brands I've used have instructions/recommendations to brew cold for the best tasting coffee. Yet no instructions for hot brewed, yet we all hot brew our coffee. Does that mean all us hot coffee Barista's are rebels!? Or are we missing out on better tasting coffee?

The little guy, I think, needs a little more height, a slightly smaller door, and because the flame is so small and weak, the pot needs to be just high enough that it doesn’t smoke, and no more…..though I could be wrong on all counts. 🙂. Finally got the family to go camping for more than a night or two, so we can settle in and I can have the time to play around a little too.
