Mini Microburst - St.louis Severe Storm 9/25/12 - high winds & damage, heavy rain, flooding
I felt like i was in a small microburst or at least the start of one. some of the strongest wind and heaviest rain ive been in. By the time i got the camera going the worst of it was over but i still managed to get a good chunk of it. Very intense winds that i would guess was 60mph with higher gusts. very heavy downpours and some flash flooding. pretty cool storm with some great non stop lightning once night fell.

That was sweet the rain came down so hard I didn't even know that a building was back there nice frequent lightining. We got that mess in Richmond Va. On the 28th got the best lightning strikes on cam. One hit right in front of the car!

yeah i saw that, it blew up once it got to mid illinois. we've just been getting trained storm after storm after storm. got about 5 inches of rain in about as many hours.

How much rain was dumped,looked like around 75mm ( 3 inches ) . Nice and green there,we need rain over here,storm season just starting.

it was pretty cool. its one of those things where the wind and rain were blasting me and i couldnt see anything so i moved the car out of the brunt of it to film with the window open and by that time the most intense wind was gone, would of been cool to get it on tape but i got the end of it at least.
im not sure, i guessed 2-3 inches and probably more towards the 2 inch mark but i have no idea. its the most ive seen fall in such a short period of time.

yeah the lightning was awesome, i didnt have my camera i need to record lightning so i missed most of that.
