Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

Just like books created centuries ago, 1:12 scale mini Medieval manuscripts must also have accurate book details! In this DIY video tutorial with FREE printables, I show how to create three types of mini book clasps, as well as mini chains and metal finishings. Embellishments and chains are accurate to 1:12 scale... it makes ALL the difference to the finished product! 📗
These miniature books REALLY look and feel like Medieval manuscripts... completely functional with rounded spines, illuminated pages, working clasps and chains! How charming and fun they are to create!!! 💗

Hello Kim... wow, thank you! What lovely and kind words 🤗😘💗💗 I am so glad my channel gives you such joy! 🤗 Miniatures are magical... period!💗 When we see items that look realistic but are a fraction of actual size, they evoke a kind of magic inside us! Add to that the elegance and charm of the Medieval era, not to mention the bling(!)... and one feels completely captivated!! I truly understand... I have a whole lot of love for anything Medieval ⚜️👑 Thank you again! 🥰 Irene xxx

Wow, love this, so tiny and cute, and a lot of work, looks like fun, always wanted to do this. I used to do Medieval Illuminations, but much bigger, it took me months to do, all hand painted, hand written, and then gave them away to friends.

Hello Annie! 🌷 Oh my goodness... a real illuminator... wow!! THAT is impressive work! I see illuminators on Instagram... what fabulous and painstaking work... people don't seem to appreciate what pure magic and delicate artistry that is! 💗🎨. I'm sure your friends were blown away! PS. What a good friend you are..! 😘🥰👏🏼 As for the mini manuscripts... you should try..! There is something magical about a tiny book that opens and closes and has clasps and chains! I display my set in a glass domed cupcake holder... so cute and always a conversation starter! 🧁💗 All the best, Irene xxx

I have Lancelot's twin in chaos sitting quietly beside me, 5 minutes ago she (KussKuss) had the zoomies, murder mittens and all, tearing through my craft supplies! I think theres a picture of her on my channel page, she looks just like Lancelot. Heather Tracy at Thicketworks is always talking about Dresden foil/trim, it doesn't seem to exist here in the UK unless you want to buy vintage German bits which are really expensive and that is not to mention the shipping from the US! Looks lovely but I'll just keep cutting metal filigree into bits lol!

Hello again Anne! So sorry for the huge delay... what a crazy time of the year! Firstly, I LOVE your kitty's name!! Ha, ha... KussKuss... how lovely!! 🥰🐈😻 These rascals are in our business every single day... mine lies across my whole work top... I barely have space for my laptop and a small place to film! The rest is given over to Monsieur Lancelot for sprawling! ❤️❤️ As for Dresden foil, I know it's not the easiest thing to get hold of. Take a look at the following 2 links which are in Manchester and Germany respectively: meissaprint.co.uk/product-category/paper/dresden-ornaments/ (Manchester) OR www.walterkunze.de/en/dresden-trim-borders/ (Germany) I hope this helps you. Oh no... so sorry you're having trouble with your printables...!☹️ The printables get emailed straight after payment is confirmed. If you received the book covers and end papers, you should also have received the book pages. Are you sure it's not sitting in your spam folder? Please send me your order number, so that I can email them again to you! Thanks a lot😊, Irene
