DESCRIPTION
Performance Cutting - Specifically crafted for efficient and precise cutting, each katana is thoroughly tested for longevity and durability.
Premium Materials - The blade is made of hand-forged 1095 folded Carbon steel, which contains 0.95% carbon, making it strong and durable - the best option for performance cutting. The clay tempering technique creates a striking hamon and a hardened edge on the blade. The copper habaki, adds a touch of elegance to the katana, while the tsuka, crafted from genuine ray skin, provides a comfortable and authentic grip.
High Quality Blade Polish - This blade has undergone a meticulous polishing process resulting in a high-quality finish, rivaling that of sashikomi.
Shinogi-Zukuri Blade Geometry - The Shinogi-Zukuri is a popular katana blade shape known for its balance of speed and cutting power, featuring a yokote. It was first created after the Heian period (987 AD).
Full-Tang - The blade extends throughout the entire length of the handle. Ideal for stability and durability during practical use.
Expertly Handcrafted - Using time-honored techniques, each sword is carefully forged by hand and individually designed in homage to tradition, culture, and craftsmanship.

Phenomenal look at this sword brother! As someone who knows Jack s*** about them. I felt like you did a phenomenal job of walking is through showing each part I really really enjoyed this. As far as any hate towards mini katana goes....... The longer I do this the more I find the company doesn't give a s*** any publicity is good publicity and what no one seems to understand in this day and age of my opinion means something your opinion don't mean Jack s*** on KZread whether it's sword or knives it is a very very small percentage that barely moves the needle Anyway great job overall brother really enjoyed this production was flawless loved it

Really eye opening to me and I'm sure a lot of other people. I know I thought they only made anime and cosplay stuff. This seems like a really well done blade. Review is about as thorough as it can be. I feel like I had the blade in front of me from all the up close shots, and indepth segments to each part of the sword. High quality and super well done as always brother. You definitely changed my opinion with this one.

I get why Mini.Katana gets the hate they do (99% of their advertisement is for non-functional or anime swords, plus they are just drop shippers). But this looks like a fair high-end offering that’s worth considering if one wants a user sword or a display piece.

Real vs fake horn, I just use a flashlight to make it easier to see the difference. Ox horn just has a different look when you shine a bright light up to it. There is a visual difference between the horn and the plastic. Horn has a cost to it, so if they don't mention it, I just assume it's probably not ox horn. I have 2 katanas in my collection that has horn, and they both were mentioned in the listing. The others weren't mentioned and either have black plastic or wood for the Koiguchi.

Yes absolutely, you can even see it in the video, real horn almost has a glow effect to it in the light...thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts

Well since it's a sword that is meant for review, it doesn't bother me much..lol...but honestly any scratches that may appear can be easily removed mostly with some good metal polish procedure...I will concentrate on getting a honing a blade video done and also polishing out scratches on a blade...thanks so much for watching....my friend

I never want to be labeled as a salesmen in my videos, I am not trying to sell anything, rather give my best opinion and impression and then the viewer will make a decision, best I can tell you is leave your options open as there are many, For the price you are getting a wonderful polish and a nicely fitted great quality sword....although for strickly Tameshigiri you can get better in evolution blades, motohara for 1 to 2 thousand more, thats amoung the best...or good for less in many different brands, all that being said, if you like this it should not let you down...and mini I believe has a good CS on their side...
