Hi! I just bought a MINI S F56 in its initial version which doesn´t have the Green-Mid-Sport driving options. Im interested in buying the JCW Kit however im in doubt whether the exhaust kit would sound less by not having the SPORT mode. Do the open valve plus the SPORT mode could sound harder than the valve opened in the initial version without the driving modes?

estebanzc123 you will not have the pops and crackles unless you have them right now. The rest will be fine.

estebanzc123 the mini cooper s, all of them have the sport mode, you dont have de green mode. So, you will have the same sound that in the video.

I am late maybe (2 years only), just turn off DSC and use premium fuel ;) After temperature gets accurate, it will fire like artillery at D-day in Normandy, with standard Cooper S exhaust system as well.

The driving part is that open or closed ?

Martyn Head it seems to be with an open valve in sport mode (the running portion of the vid) however it sounds exactly the same with the valve closed; the only main difference is the pops and crackles are slightly softer on the ears and have a almost metallic “ping” to them (try and find a video of one with the exhaust valve closed and you’ll hear what I mean)
