Looks awesome, I am in the process of the dechrome if my Jcw, killallchrome never disappoint, I have almost completed the interior on my mini, with carbon affect stick ons which look amazing mostly from Killallchrome. My intention is to follow your piano black on the exterior as it is more in keeping with whats already there. Thanks for sharing 😊

I got the same car as you around the same time, same colour and everything. I've already dechromed it all and yeah I love it. I bought the JCW badge from Kill All Chrome and had exactly the same fitment as that! Doing a resonator delete like you did soon, our cars will be nearly the same lol. Also, I noticed the black trim where your number plate is stuck to has faded. Mine was the same when I got mine. If you get a heat gun (hairdryer might do it but I'm not sure) and just gently heat up where it has faded, it will go back to being a perfect black. Car's looking great and loving the content. Next up for me after the resonator is lowering and tinting, looking forward to seeing what you do next

Yeah cheers I absolutely love the car and there’s so much you can do to it. When you do the resonator delete the car sounds so much better I’m always going through the gears listening to the pops

Hi u should have done the bigger Airtec Logo Intercooler installation at the same time,safe u taking the bumper off again mate.

Just an FYI, since I was replacing my front grille molding like you did, and like you, I didn't need the original chrome molding, so I simply took a pry bar and broke it off in pieces. From start to finish, it only took 18 minutes. I like the black JCW emblem for the grille. I know you said you didn't want to call them out on sending the wrong one, but can you tell us where it came from?

Didn't realise my car was "Insane!" I did it the easy way though, I bought a car already fitted with the black trim!

Why not use the stick on's like the handles , light surrounds and filler cap. Seems like alot of unnecessary hassle

Could have just pried the grill surround off with a screwdriver instead of taking the whole bumper off just fyi

Did you really need to pull off the entire bumper? couldn't you just undo the clips on the chrome? The removal of the entire bumper seemed to be for no reason.

I did need to remove it because the bottom clips are impossible to get to when it's on

@@JoshBatesYT Wouldn’t you be able to pull the chrome off and just push the clips out if it breaks? I am keen on dechroming but the bumper removal effort is 🥵

@@Erict268 You might be able to but you risk the clps snapping off in the bumper and then you might not be able to get them out. Trust me I tried to find a way to do it without the bumper removal but couldn't find a way
