I have just purchased this very same tool from a different vendor, only it's a 115 volt unit, (more usable in many more places in my opinion), This tool works very well, it' absolutely great and a super addition to my tool array. Instead of having to break out the torches in a lot of cases I just have to run a power cable to the job and saves a LOT of time and effort. You can heat up just the fastener you need to without the overspill from a flame unit.

But other then that i got out really rusty bolts out very easily. I compared without heat. Wouldn’t budge with my impact, then applied 20secs of heat and BAM! no struggles 🤣 Amazon rocks.

Tack Johan.

Great tool, but the price is pretty steep. I'd expect better quality insulation. IDK the cost breakdown on these heaters, but they aren't that hard to build. One of the downsides is getting something like that into tight spaces vs wire brush and sprays. Can't say I've had enough rusty bolts to justify the price.

If you bend the coil you can get into pretty tight spaces but of course there is always a limit. Banggood price: 3800SEK. If I buy exactly the same tool here in Sweden the price is: 6000SEK.

@@tompas11A3n52KkX Yes, it's bulky, but you could maybe scale it down, IDK electronics enough to know how to scale it down, but you could and save a lot of money. If it's $50 for that setup, then maybe 30~40 for a smaller one. The main point is that the ready made one is $250, this is $50, so you save a ton of money.

This review is just what I’ve been looking for. The machine looks like all of the cheap models for sale on eBay for £160-180 I need to remove 7 steel exhaust bolts from an aluminium motorcycle head, I’m thinking it’s worth paying for if that’s all I do with it...as long as it lasts that long!! (Cheap Chinese Crap) I would think as long as you watch the insulation and replace before the coils touch,or a a part of the uninsulated coil touches the workpiece it ‘should’ be ok. I’ve been wondering how long it would last before breaking, is it still ok, have you used it a lot?
