Thanks for the informative product haul video. I find it interesting on what other naturals use and why. I go for ingredients...mainly because I worry about damaging my hair. I will say there aren't many products I have come across that I trust and actually that work and do what it claims to. Your hair is healthy long and beautful! 😍 Keep doing whatever you're doing cause it looks great! Btw maybe you have made 1 of these videos but I too blow dry my hair and I use the Revair to do so. I find it is the least damaging and it's very quick but I don't flat iron. Maybe that is why my hair doesn't stay straight and starts to frizz soon after. I do try and keep my hair straight like this for as long as possible before I wash it again and go back to curly. So basically how do you maintain your blow out and for how long? Keeping my hair curly is so much work! My hair really tangles and I get ssk all the time. Not sure how to wear it out on a daily basis. This is why I don't do wash and gos but do protective styles. Braid outs and twist outs I usually do for when a special occassion comes up. But it's only good for 1 day and then I have to start untangling when I get home and back to protective braids and two stranded twists before I sleep on it. 🙄

Thank you for watching. Inhabe also found that many products do not do what they actually claim to do , even if used as the directions say on the packaging. Making a blow out last can be tricky. I find that styles that are very simple with just a bit of tension works for me. Styles such as a ponytail with a braid or a bun or 2 pigtails. It takes me back to the time when I was a pre teen going to school before I discovered straighteners and perms, I would do a ponytail everyday, medium height with a braid. My hair could last 2 weeks. I find that since social media has made sleek styles extra extra popular , people use products that would end up shortening the life of a good blow out. For instance, I just did a decent blow out with the Amazon dryer. Hair is great still but the edges are stiff and getting product buildup from the got to be spiking glue and the Hairspray that I applied. If I just leave the hair as is, the hair would stay movable fresh clean and smooth for way longer. Perhaps I shall make an experiment with a blow out and see if I can keep it in good shape for a full 7 to 12 days. How did you have your hair styled when you were really young?

@@shanikacorb That's a really good question, but unexpexted. My Mom would hot comb my hair straight and do pigtails, or afro puffs. Oh that smell of the hot comb on the stove! 😵‍💫 When I was about 13 I begged my Mom to get my hair relaxed when I went to visit my older sister. She had a fit but relented. I had my hair relaxed for years and it never was healthy enough to grow long. Went natural and never looked back. However its alot of time and work but my hair is longer than I ever imagined it would be. 😁 I started reading a book called Curly Like Me and was so inspired by her natural hair journey...I then turned to KZread and found others like me who some are finding success with long and healthy hair growth. I honestly don't have alot of friends who are naturals so its good to watch hair tutorials like yours. I've learned alot. I would love a video about how to keep a blowout looking good! 🤗❤

@@carmelacristoforo262 soo beautiful. I miss the days of pigtails sometimes. It makes me smile to see little kids with those classic styles. The relaxers also held me back for many from reaching a healthy happy length. I always knew it was the reason I wasn't finding success but was soo reluctant to stop relaxers. As soon as I said no more, the mental stress of the plateau disappeared. The past 5 years is the healthiest it has been since a child. I'll be working on a new video this weekend. 🤗
