This device is rubbish. It was connected to my sim but it did not register. I sent 102 from my mobile and it says the device is registering. Its about one month since I bought it and its still the same issue. Don't waste your money and don't buy it.

I have one of these trackers, but never got the opportunity to use it, lol. Anyway, from what I gather, you can activate the SiM in any sort of cheap phone that has a removable SIM. You will need to purchase some additional cheap plan that provides a SIM (Straight Talk-Walmart). You need to have a phone number attached to that SIM that is active, that can be accomplished with any old phone uve got around. Set it up as you would any "new" phone. After you receive an assigned cellphone number, remove the SIM, then plug it into the GPS unit. You should see it light up internally, as in the video. (Make sure the unit is fully charged before use! A green light will go out once fully charged, if I recall correctly) After that, there is a 3 digit text command (shown in video-you will text the GPS the command) that will bind the GPS to ur actual everyday cellphone. Once they are bound, this will allow you to "ping" the GPS for its location via another 3 digit command. There are several, but the two discussed here can do the job. You should receive a link in response. That link will show you GPS location via Google Maps. The instructions were completely in Chinese, so this video filled in alot of blanks. Btween my comments and this video, you should be able to utilize the unit to achieve the task at hand.

So this thing doesn't *actually* use GPS, even though it says "GPS" on the device in big letters? AND requires 2G network? And this is nowhere in the instructions/marketing text? Wow, that's simply lying to your customers. Awful practice.

What kind of SIM card I have to buy to use it?

Ok, this is not a GPS tracker as advertised. On KZread, they sell these for $49 each but can buy on eBay for around $6-$9 each. The main issue is that it only operates on 2G networks that don’t exist anymore, plus it has no GPS hardware. Maybe a few years ago, it could operate kind like APRS but this device still doesn’t have the hardware to ping more than one cell phone tower to get a fair idea for search grid. For that reason alone, this device is not worth the headache. A this size and price, it would never reach 007 levels that is needed to actually work. If it’s too good to be true, it probably is too good to true, lol!

I’ve been trying to get it to work for one solid month. I paid for a monthly Sim card fee still nothing. I had it calling Me Back 100 times in one day letting me know that you hear something. But I have not been able to see or figure out how I could track it.

How many individual people out there who are trying to set up a GPS tracker is one tip make sure you sign that SIM card to register on Google for your mobile phone first then apply the GPS tracker into the than the app work for you the number is not registered to email address then it's unable to track 0:08

Put the sim card in a phone. Under settings / security you can delete pin code for the sim or type a blank code. 😀

It works for me....San Jose Costa Rica 3 March 2020 Claro chip 4g...I call it and the microphone works really good,the ubication it's a little wrong but gives you some information to start a search....sorry my bad English.....like the video I recommend the product 👍🏻

I bought one of these, setting it up wasn't a problem HOWEVER, I have 2 issues which I don't see mentioned here 1) The location is NOT accurate.... Had my car parked outside my house with the tracker in it, got the location and it showed me my car was on a different street in my local hospital grounds..... I went to pickup some car parts the following day and while inside the store I got my location once again, it showed my location on the opposite side of the dual carriageway in a totally different industrial estate 2) I've tried to download the app for three days and everyday it keeps telling me registering device please try later From my experience I'd say this is absolutely rubbish. What good is it if you'd stole my car, parked it on your drive but this thing is telling me it's somewhere else

Mine works but doesn't use Google maps like other trackers. It seems to use some rubbish Chinese mapping and it's very inaccurate.

great review, but it doesn't some how work in Australia. I think this device is 2G, which is no longer operate in Australia for long time. if its 3G or 4G sure work, never mind wasted $25.

Not s good GPS locator. Does not have GPS module. Uses cell tower triangulation which is usually 100s of meters off. It will work as a listening device. Might have some sos functionality.

@@demil3618 yes it is. But I tried without ever leaving my home. Today I went for a drive with the GPS, and tried it again. The accuracy got better. It still misses by 100m give or take, but at least it is not by a mile. It is what it is xD

This device does not give an accurate location, but rather gives you the location of the communication tower closest to it. It does not work via satellites. If you are in an open place or far from the city, the margin of error may exceed a mile.

My local mobile phone shop in UK says it won't work in UK only China & USA your answer please ? After 2 years still no answer from them on this page.

The immediate thing to mention is that the tracker ONLY works o 2G networks which are now obsolete in developed countries 3G will also cease to exist in many countries from 2024 onward As for any GPS tracking device - check on which frequency bands it operates on- There is a disparity between phone network providers. So what may work with one provider may not necessarily work with another provider This device would have been fine ten years ago - in 2010 -2015 but not these days. It is a toy and will only operate in countries that continue to use 2G Otherwise do not waste your money. ALSO the device will not store the tracking history on th eSIM CARD - That in itself makes it a TOY and not for serious tracking.

only set the sim in the GPS and use another mobile phone to send an SMS to the number u set in the GPS and write 000, it registers ur phone number and then write 777 it shows ur current location, it is only an image, not realtime location.

@@MalikMilkyBones I have been trying to get my number registered to the app so can get exact location but it keeps telling registration failed try again later the only locations I get when I send 777 is where ever the closest tower is which usually is about at least 1mile or more in any direction which is pretty useless if you where trying to locate a child or stolen car all the other features work recording and call back recording so its pretty much a tower locator

my sim card is too small and does not fit inside GPS and also if we leave the sim card insid the GPS how can we send a text massage?

I downloaded the file but it’s downloaded as apk file and not an app. I have iPhone 7 not sure if it works only on android. Is there something that I should do? Also I did a test run and the location shows like 5 minutes away by car.

Anyone knows how to reset binding/master number? Most of the complaints I see here are probably answered by these: - First thing to do is to remove sim lock / pin verification of the sim card. Insert the sim card in a phone, go to settings and search for it (on Android devices it's on the security tab) - This device needs to have a sim card with credit (topped up) so it can return calls or messages/commands. Otherwise you can still use it ONLY for calling to the device and hearing what the devices microphone is capturing. - It is NOT A GPS device. It uses the location of the mobile network of the sim card, meaning that it will give the location of the signal tower to which the device is connected (the device can be at 10 meters from it or it can be 5km away)

Thanks for the video. In mine the red light goes ON and never goes OFF. No flashing 4x then standby as described in the instructions. Tried texting the number with 000 never got a response. ok, liked, subscribed, now let's fix some issues: - I have new prepaid sim card and memory card - connected via 000 code - 777 code says it is a problem "loc: the addr invalid (link, battery %). The url says the site can't load Google Maps correctly - what is the workaround so I can see the location? - 102 code gets response, "registering your tracker, please try this command again later" And when I want to download their original app, mobile wanrs me that this type of file can damage my mobile. What is the next step, so I can use it? Thank you

SMS it 107, also don't use this device as a GPS tracker since it's really not a GPS. It just reports the current cell tower position. It has no GPS hardware inside it. Open it up and check for yourself.

A mi si me funcionó,vivo en San José Costa Rica y hoy es 3 de Marzo del 2020,con un chip claro 4g,hice la llamada y si sirve el micrófono con un tiempo de respuesta muy corto probablemente uno o dos segundos de retraso,la ubicación en mi caso si es imprecisa con un margen de error de por lo menos 400 metros de distancia pero por lo menos te daría una idea de dónde puede estar lo que necesitas localizar...A ver como anda en estos días pero de momento si lo recomiendo,gracias por el video like 👍🏻

in my case the red light lits up as I insert the sim card but doesn't blink. remains static. my sim has no pin. please help

How to remove the pin code in the sim card

What if GPS does not blinks but light stays on? Also after texting 000 to number on SuperSIM card I get this message on my phone: Free Msg: Unable to send message - Message Blocking is active. Thanks in Advance for your help.

I bought this, got sim card, memory card. Took pin of sim inserted and the red light just stays on, does this mean I've got a dodgy one or do I need todo something else?

If you have 2g network yes You need to use a nano SIM card But i recommended gf21 or gf22

I bought one, and up to now its like at least 2 miles out

Please what do you mean by you need to remove the pin code from SIM card before use in the GPS tracker?

The SD card they sent me is just the small one, doesn't look like this at all, and no loghts come on. I've charged it, and still nothing. IDK if its this long number on the device im text because i did that also, and nothing! Im not the most technological person, but i purchased because it said it is easy to use and i also bought their SD card. Any help?!

This is a hoax... for those planning to buy this tracker it does NOT work without a sim card. When you purchase the card from the company One Sim Card or GPS Card they try to hook you with a 1 year contract of a monthly fee for the different plans. At the end of the day it is NOT user friendly.

How did you get a gps number to be able to text commands to?

I don't understand what send to GPS number means.
