I'm still coming to terms with the exterior, but the interior is superb. I'm going to be driving the new Cooper (hatchback) in May.

Back end looks fab and love roof design

Condensation in the headlight is a red flag for me 😅

I am Indranil Sen , and I live in Kolkata, India. Today is a Sunday and the Bengali New Year 1431. At 10am I am going to the Porche Showroom here, where Mr.Prasenjit , the man in charge of the showroom will offer me a test drive of Country Man 1.5CC , which he said can be offered to buy even for a limited period of time, at my age of 67. I am not sure if this model is available at the showroom as I learned about it Now, & I could not ask Mr.Prasenjit about it when He called me up yesterday. Thank You very much for this wonderful Vlog.

Can't see the attraction myself. By continuing to increase its size, but trying to retain elements of its original design, does not work.

Saw a shorter review elsewhere. What caught my eye was the exclusive trim. The interior really got my attention. I’d probably opt for a mid range car. Well done Mini for making me have a think.

The Exclusive trim is very nice actually. They had a Countryman C there too that I looked at and it had the Exclusive trim and looked lovely.

Awesome review, thoroughly enjoyed the detailed information. would recommend a more focused shot of the boot space on larger vehicles, maybe get the camera person to stand back a bit more to really give the viewer a sense of capacity size. Looking forward to seeing more from you. cheers.

I started off with a paceman cooper and now in a cooper SD hatch and with my family getting bigger I need a bigger one but I really didn't wanna commit to a bigger car. I liked your countryman I wish the size would have stayed the same but like you I didn't like countryman but as times have gone by I've learned to like and appreciate it.

Good choice!

I like it a lot more that the previous countryman, my daughter has the previous model S and it is very good but unlike Brian I much prefer the new back end and like the overall design. I agree the C pillar badge is rather prominent but I am getting used to it and it does help break up the long side view and gives it personality. I also like the BMW X1 but the Mini looks better and its £5000 more for the same car. The levels are clever and it comes with level 1 as standard 2 & 3 add extra options. Level 2 is more than you need but level 3 has electric seats which is really useful with two drivers especially as my wife is much shorter. In her R56 Copper S its a nightmare to get the right seat position as its a manual and getting he clutch pedal right is challenging. The laege boot means it is a very viable option against other cars. The only issue I have is their are only 5 colour choices and no blue (bit obsessed with blue).

you could look at the exclusive trim, it has a blue interior and blazing blue paint.

I had a test drive in the Mini countryman C 170bhp 18 inch alloys last week and the ride quality was awful. It’s very stiff and you feel every bump and pothole travelling up through your spine. A very disappointing drive, my 2014 Mini Paceman Cooper S is a far smoother and more comfortable ride. I love the styling inside and outside, but the uncomfortable ride quality has now put me off from buying one…. 😢

I didn't find it too bad, although would like to try a non-JCW car to compare. But it sounds like you didn't enjoy it all.

Not the first with electric seats. The F60 and F54 have electric seats, but not on the dynamica sport seats.

Just looks very similar to BMW's Carbon Black, that was my point.

Just get a BMW X1.

I hate everything about this car. It has a slower 0 to 60 time than my 2020 countryman jcw. I believe Mini sales are way down in the U.S year after year, because they have lost there appeal. Bigger isn't always better.

To be honest - here in the U.K. you don’t see that many JCW versions of any Mini. As for all the other variants, they are everywhere….you literally can’t drive for 5 minutes without seeing one.
