Test drove one of these yesterday. The dealer had 6 on the lot here in San Jose and the first 2 we sat in had 0% state of charge! I told the salesman that this is really bad for the battery - he didn't care.

Just want to let you know that there are four chargers before getting to El Cajon off the I8, you can always stop at Viejas Casino when you head to San Diego.

@@EV-zona they are not fast chargers, you are correct the fast chargers are in El Cajon at the Walmart.

We love our mini Cooper. Not really a road car. Do you think you can make it to San Diego ?

Not sure, that’s why I haven’t attempted yet. I’m waiting for temps to be in 70s so hopefully AC or heater won’t impact range

I went to San Diego and back. I did have to stop and charge on the way, but there are enough chargers on the way that it is a pretty smooth process. (I did go from Creviar Mini (Santa Ana) to San Diego in one charge, but that was with lots of traffic)
