It already is, since it uses 4 sets of propellers and concentric shafts.

I remember flying a chinook version I had back in the day. This one actually looks like it flies better. Nice job

A few years ago when these IR micro helis came out, I had a Chinook version and it was actually brilliant. Can’t find them anywhere now.

It’s so funny how different the channels are but how much I enjoy both. Like steak then dessert:)

Fly at night and the ir works. You can take more weight off the shell lights. You can boost the fly time quite a bit

Your brother turns everything into a comedy, but I'm not complaining... Also seeing CAD work on a curved monitor just feels wrong.

You could maybe have improved the flight performance by making the bar between the two helicopters less of a hinder to the downwind of the rotors.

Now this is really cool! Turning a bug/big oversight into a feature! That save at 9:05 was awesome! I'm a little confused, why did it perform worse with the single big battery and the big battery plus the two small batteries? I thought at first maybe the single big battery wasn't able so supply enough power for both motors at the same time, but with all three not working well idk what was happening.

I dont think it needs 4 motors though,sure it has thrust issues with reduced blades, but with some work remove the alternate blades from each end and you have one displaced dual rotor chinook.

You should use tapered beam btw rotary, it will easy weight and decrease timeprint or use tube circle/closed I-beam cross-section with side joints that affects more on performances aircraft and manufacturing :) Nice video👨‍🔬

If I was you, I would have used the little motor that provided forward tilt in the design. By only inverting one of them so that when you input forward tilt it actually provided thrust for tilt in the desired direction to provide forward movement.

Hook up the LED receivers so it only needs too see a signal from both or either LED. I was confused when I thought I didn’t see this this in my playlist, then I noticed the Tim instead of Tom lol.. Just now subbed!

If you don't have some or haven't tried it yet get some light weigh PLA. The stuff is amazing.

you could get pitch control by leaving one of the tail motors attached somewhere off-center.

No tail motors on these,they have counter rotating main blades for steering.

I've been known to chase IR RC planes around when flying outside during the day due to the short range...I dont recommend it lol

Fun fact: you don't need to make cutouts for 3d-printed parts. They're gonna be infilled anyway. And it will be more weight/strength efficient.
