Yes I prefer micro braids than sister Locs because you can always redue them and you don’t have to make a commitment to something you can’t change . So I would have a whole bunch of micros all over my head . And folks would mistake them from sister Locs.

It really depends on your hair type and texture. Some loc quicker than others but I’d say no more than a month

Did you only use 2 mirrors, front & back while braiding yourself? And does it take a lot of practice braiding your own hair?

Braided myself yes but I have a 3 way mirror that I got from Amazon that helped so much!
