Also, I'm 28 years old and I have watched your videos for almost 7 years now! This may be just me, I always loved the baby sister Kelly dolls and their sculpts they had in the 90's. I wish they still make them that way.

I was just talking with my sister-in-law the other day, and we were commiserating over the fact that a lot of the more recent holiday Barbies just seem to be wearing solid-color dresses in red, gold, or silver. (Honestly, it's hard to tell which ones are for which years, sometimes, because they all kinda run together.) A lot of earlier edition holiday Barbies had embroidery, sequins, pearls, colorful ribbons or jewels, motifs like holly or snowflakes, and even unusual (for Christmas) colors like maroon, blue, pink, and black. Dresses like ^this one evoke the Christmas spirit without being bland. Congratulations on finding it! I hope mini Toya enjoys wearing it to holiday gatherings.

I got a late 80’s or early 90’s Christmas Barbie. She had a dark green velvet ballgown with mutton leg sleeves ( puffed at the shoulders then skin tight down to the wrist) and a jewelled bodice with green, clear and red gems. I think she had holly in her hair, blonde curls, red lipstick and green eyes. She may have had a white fur muffler too

@@louisacoote2337 Based on your description, it sounds like the 1991 Christmas Barbie. She's exactly the kind of doll I was talking about - glamourous and festive. The 90's overall was a good era for the Christmas doll gowns. '95 and '97 are my favorites.

As an avid doll collector I cannot tell you how much joy I have when you take the dolls out of the box and actually play with them!! And steal their clothes😂😂. 💚💚💚

When my daughter was little, I bought her so many Kelly and her friends' dolls. I think I was obsessed. I still think they are so cute!

I can't help but be sad when I see these vintage barbies. I really think their clothes (and play sets) where so much better back then and when I was a kid. The clothes pattern went all the way round and would more often be in two or more pieces unlike many barbies today were it is just printed on pattern and only in the front! It is so nice to see you showing off the barbies I loved and grew up, it brings back SO many happy memories ❤❤❤

Yeah, those antique stores and thrift stores have rare gems ❤ The smiles on these dolls are cute ❤

Those seahorses remind me of similar toys that came out in the 80's. I think they were an extension of my little pony? I remember owning & playing with them. (Man! That was a long time ago) 😂

Hey Toya, have you seen the new holiday make it mini balls? They have hot cocoa , gingerbread house, and a turkey! Mini Toys would have such an awesome Thanksgiving spread with a tofu or Cajun turkey!

I have had that Barbie and her sister gift pack since when it first came out. It is one of my favorite Christmas sets. The Breyer sea horses are so cute. Will be buying the dragon looking seahorse to add to my collection.

I haven't watched your videos since you stopped doing lives sometime last year. Since i am in college, that was the only video of yours i have time to watch. I did set up a library with your templates and covers I found on Pinterest (There were some titles such as The Great Gatsby and Frankenstein you still didn't do it.) and my mother, already foreseeing the huge expense on cartridges, suggested me to use medicine leaflets. Some have smaller letters, so... it is actually a good idea, just in case someone is alike me and rather the dolls to turn their book pages.

Yes! She could call them "Mini Women" and "Froggy's Web". I don't know how a spider is named Froggy, or how a frog could have a web, but I'm sure Toya could think of a way. Also I'd like paperback book sizes as well.

Great video! I also have a sisters set similar to what you found. Barbie's fried hair could be from storage over the years. The Breyer figures are really cute. I like that the cards include information about the real animal that inspired the figure. I'll have to keep an eye out for these. Love the book ideas! But, alas, that's one doll project that will have wait.

If you don’t have gold paint, you can mix a bit of gold colored washable marker with school glue. Then you can paint the books and let them dry as is.

I had this holiday Barbie site, but I only have the dress to Barbie, and I only have now is the Kelly and Stacy dolls.

I drove over an hour to get some today! I got 10!!!! Not one magnifying glass among the bunch! 😂They are cute as all get out though!

I'm loving seeing Kelly in these videos I'm a kelly collector... when I was little I didn't have interest in barbie but was very into kelly club. I have some Chelsea's now but I'm not as big of a fan of Chelsea just because of the molded hair on the boys and molded clothes.... also the new toddler dolls while the same height as kelly have icky molded hair. I don't have any original kelly dolls anymore though I did have og kelly and Tommy growing up they are on my wishlist but their size is completely different from all other dolls in my collection

I would’ve made the book title for the one with the Capt. Picard doll “Make It Sew” 😂
