Great video! I will say I do get disappointed with the Rainbow High doll’s quality, specifically with the jewels and stuff falling off. It’s the only reason I don’t have one yet. And especially with one for $100, you’d think they could find a way to prevent that from happening. That being said, I love your honest rainbow high reviews, so people can easily figure out which ones are better to buy than the others. Keep up the great work! (And I would love to see a video about the two new sports OMG dolls or their new tween line).

i cant rly justify buying any of the “special edition” dolls at full price tbh. there just doesn’t seem enough of a difference in quality to justify such a huge price leap

I am learning that the type of hair makes a difference 😅 the dye took instantly on the Rainbow high doll but not on a Barbie… you might need to find out what kind of hair your dolls has ❤

I dyed my RH doll’s hair black, and at first I turned dark green. So I dyed it again and got black. It looks great! You might need more than one go.

Hi Toya,nice video. I love the boots and Pom puppy that came with the Paris Hilton doll. I wish that Barbie Extra dolls came with the pets that are as good as that Pom puppy. I have seen Barbie pets that are similar. I like the sweaters from Aldi,especially the snowman one.

I've been tempted to try Rit dye several times but I'm so nervous of ruining something lol! I may give it a try yet, but I'd definitely use a practice doll first! Rainbow High dolls apparently have nylon hair, which seems to be the preferred texture for doll hair because it handles heat better and retains style longer. From what I've heard, anyway. :D That pink purse definitely looks better without the fringe! I like the Paris Hilton doll, but I won't be getting her since I'm not really a fan lol, and it's a bummer that a doll with such a big price tag has crystals that are coming off so easily. Good luck with finding that purse!!!

I agree with you about the prices of the dolls. $100.00 is too much for Barbie and Rainbow high. I think I might be done buying dolls, I've been collecting since 1990's.

A tip with the Rit is their Dyemore line of the liquids is better than the regular Rit. Rit Dyemore is designed for synthetic materials. When storing dyed dolls you need to be careful if they’re touching other items as the dye can possibly transfer over time.

We have the mini fashions in Australia and I have been picking them by the rattle that make (I know sounds weird). Your right about the suitcase - it's a little heavier and doesn't move in the ball. The shoe purse you can really hear it rattle as the heel is a type of metal. So far been lucky and only 1 double out of 11 balls :-). Good luck with finding the pink purse you want.

For a cute Christmas background there are little light up stores and houses at Aldi there is a mini Aldi stores and a candy or toy shop I can't remember hope you find them!

I am using All Purpose Rit Dye and when I tried it on a Barbie fashionistas in our “Random Doll Stuff Wednesday Addams” video it didn’t really take … because they have different types of hair… there are other types of dye but some might stain the doll 😬
