melzi melzi I know this wasn't directed to me but I mean I don't find any guys from Seventeen particularly "rugged macho" type lol They all have their masculine side and some have more delicate side as well. Why are so many people suggesting that men being "feminine" is wrong? Jeonghan obviously isn't some "flower princess" but he also isn't some "super-manly-bro-macho-dude" lmao He has done, and still does things that would be considered "feminine" (especially in the western world but I think in Asia as well), which is good because it shows that his masculinity is not fragile.

melzi melzi it's not that i see jeonghan as a girly person but you could say that before that clip, i've always thought of him as a distant classmate who i know but does not talk to. however, i now see him as someone who would meet me in the middle of the night and lend me a shoulder to cry on manly type.

Honestly I love hearing Th8 speak in korean. Idk if it’s because he has an accent or if it’s just his voice but it sounds very soothing. It kind of sounds like he drags the words a little bit? Idk it just nice to hear. Too bad he tends to be quieter.

i'm very proud that he evolved so much and is now confident in his korean skills. learning a second language, espacially one with a completely different alphabet and pronunciation is very hard and yet his korean improved a lot very quickly. i also appreciate how the other members (espacially jeonghan and jun) helped him with it. like they all genuinely seem to care about each other and i love that about seventeen

not trying to start a war or whatever but i used to be an exo stan and i always felt this kind of integration between their korean and chinese members were lacking. there were several times they laughed at lay and tao for their korean and many think of it as being "cute" or whatever. but try learning a different language and struggling and having people laugh at you. it's not cute. part of why i stan seventeen so hard is because i can see that they wanna giggle sometimes but they hold it in and help out the8 as much as they can.

I get what you mean. I watched a few episodes of exo Showtime and I remember thinking that they didn't seem all that close to each other (no shade or anything - it's hard with a big group like that). Almost like their relationship as a group was a bit forced? I thought some of them were good friends but others seemed awkward with each other. Idk bc I didn't know much about them (which was why I wanted to watch the show) but in the end, I just accepted that I liked their music more than their variety shows. With seventeen, they were pretty up front about any awkward relationships like in 17 project, wonwoo admitted that he and Jeonghan weren't very close (at the time) and I really appreciated the honesty. It was refreshing.

Yeah I was an exo-l too and even before Kris left I felt there was something off about their bond as a group. And when Kris left it put me off K-pop as a whole because I thought that all the relationships we see in the "reality shows" were all scripted and fake. Seventeen is the first group I've stanned since Kris left and I was really touched by their genuine care and respect for each other... that's what turned me into a carat...their teamwork and strong bond.

I'm super late to this but I feel like that's the difference between SM (and/or the big three) and smaller companies. With Seventeen Pledis right off the bat gave them more freedom to be who they are. There's a lot of honesty with Seventeen. Same goes for BigHit. They gave them the freedom to be honest about their thoughts and feelings and Seventeen and BTS have a really tight bond within their respective groups.

Laucln 세봉 I think fans were asking The8 for his shoe size but he thought they were just saying the lyrics to 'Adore U', so I guess the staff was just telling him that he misunderstood the fan's question. But that's just how I understood it so I'm not 100% sure.

Fans wanted to send the boys some shoes, so they asked their shoe sizes. However, the staff thought it was one of the lyrics from ADORE U ("I care a lot about you, even your shoe size"). The8 ,the cute bby, didn't understand the mishap and just answered the shoe size question anyway
