You did not get those weird sounds with the 440, think I prefer the M/L 440 maybe because I get it today 5/27/2023 and my detecting will be in high iron ( magnets will pick up the rocks ) NW Arizona. Have been using the Bounty Hunter tracker 4 for years. And the reason I bought the 440 is because of your videos and know I will be happy with it. Being 78 soon 79 gives me something to do and enjoy. What’s a good setting to have your ferrous setting at? I’ve been running mine around 5-10 and I’ve had some incredible finds just not super sure what good for the beach. Gold is non ferrous right so would it help to run it higher? Thanks in advanced if you could help out with that question:)

I just dont know if im sold on Minelab. I had an 800 and I didnt have that much fun w it. Sold it after about a year of use. I got a Simplex Plus and have been using it for a while. Im kind of getting a bug to get another detector just don't know what one.

There's a lot of good options on the market... I've used Minelab Equinox 600, Nokta Legend & XP Deus 2 in the water and they all seem to work pretty good 👍

The Beaches are back! All the local KZread detectorists are finding gold, silver and lots of coins. Now it's time for me to start hitting them again. Got tired of only trash a couple weeks ago and very little of even that.

Higher frequency is better for smaller gold

I think it's a good detector, I have one and am happy with it.

Call wildlife on that seagull. Definitely not right. Hope you did something about him.

Year and a half ago I got an Nox 800. I’m not about to run out and spend another grand on a detector

You have the right mindset, I really think most detectors after a certain point are very close in performance... it's really just mostly hype & manufacturers trying to sell more machines..

Simlex is the beast . For the money you can't beat it . I have a few high end machines but I will be buying the ultra for sure . Love my Noktas .
