I mean, when you think about it, he didn't really. At his peak he had, on average, around 14 million views per video (2013-14ish). Each generation tends to have around 50 to 80 million people worldwide, with Generation Z having around 60 million individuals. Naturally, this means that not every individual of any generation bore witness to Stampy's videos, the majority have probably never heard of this guy, and of course for every viewer that watched one of his video's, we need to take into account that they probably didn't keep their internet schedule reserved for just Stampy, many other youtubers and people in their real lives affected them too.

you literally have no idea!! i first saw this video 7 years ago when is came out. I was 6 years old and i had one ipad with minecraft on it and a dream! I built a tiny cruise ship that took me a whole year to make and it was based off of this exact video! this was my first ever stampy video and it was the one thing that made me love minecraft so much more than i had already! after this video i could not stop watching stampy. im literally crying right now.

One of stampy cats videos is how I discovered minecraft and this was back when I was little but i forgot about stampy after a while but how I’m returning to the source on how I found the masterpiece Minecraft but only to come in tears but tears of joy ;D

I shed a tear watching this. Gives me feeling of the times where there was nothing left to worry about. Thank you for those very good times stampy!

I was diagnosed with ASD (aspergers syndrome,) and by watching your videos, I know that it's okay to be different, okay to enjoy spending time with yourself more than friends, and okay to feel not as appreciated. Last week, I achieved the honor roll for the first time (I'm a HS Sophomore) and have had trouble with Algebra and Geometry for years, and I got down on my knees and cried while my mom smiled at me for my first amazing educational-wise feat. Thank you for making me feel that I'm not alone, and my interests make me the person I am today.
