Well the game sadly got discontinued after season 2 you can sadly only play the rest of season 1 not with Netflix since it only has 5 of the episodes season 2 isn’t only Netflix though sadly

It's just so weird hearing voice actors talk, when you're used to hearing them in-character, because in the game their on a set personality... but irl their so different just because they have to suit a different style of voice in-game.

Haters need to chill out and realize that this is a world of business. Telltale wanted a new target audience for a project so they did that. This wasn't made for the TWDG, wolf or tales fans etc. It was made for a completely new target audience and you have to understand that. I mean it's a bonus if you're a previous Telltale fan and you enjoy it...but look at the business side of it.

Half the people hate on story mode are die hard twd and got fanboys or just people who despise Minecraft in general, to be fair, Telltale has done a good job here, nothing blockbluster or award winning, but its a fun and enjoyable experience and I believe telltale have done good to deviate from the more mature stories as it harkans back to their early years that nobody acknowledges(sam and max)

+TheExclusiveMan Exactly. What they have produced is an alright game. I'd consider myself an insanely large fan of TWDG, Tales, wolf etc but I know that this was a good decision for Telltale. It will definitely allow them to branch out more and improve their company as a whole as they begin to work with bigger and more powerful companies.

I know people are sceptical about this game. I just played episode 1 and its way better than expected! It is actually a very good game! People just compare it to games such as Game of Thrones and The Walking Dead, but it shouldn't be. Minecraft: Story Mode is a great game on its own, for children and adults to enjoy.

This game is so nostalgic, remember buying this when I was young, Ive now been playing it again from my Xbox after watching it on Netflix, and gee it sure is nice to hear them say like crap and hell, because they changed that in the Netflix series. I get now how scary it would be if this was actually happening. The music brings it all together, it sets the mood you’re supposed to be in.

I'm finally playing this game 7 years later, and I have to say that it is WAY TOO GOOD for what it appears to be lol Season 2 is my favorite, but the entire MCSM franchise was just so awesome. It remains my favorite game ever since watching my favorite youtubers play it when it came out, and it'll take quite a bit to take it off of that podium for me. The medium of Minecraft makes it look so silly, but it really is an amazing game. Best characters, interactions, and stories I've ever seen attatched to anything like that. Say what you will about the writing, it's such a blast to play and just watch the story unfold! I never thought the writing was anything less than lovable and grand, but everyone is entitled to their opinion, I suppose :) I'm so in love with this game. It may look silly and childish, but it genuinely lights something up in me. Every time you play it, it's like you're seeing it for the first time again. It makes me so overjoyed- it makes me feel like I'm a kid, falling in love with a story from the first scene. If you're reading this, I 100% reccomend shoving down your pride and going to get a slightly used copy of season 1 and/or 2 and just playing it for yourself. I certainly didn't regret it, and I doubt you will either. Thank you telltale. I hope I can give people the joy this game gave me and so many others one day.

@@hrmm_9 No, not on PC, but there are disc copies of both Season One and Season Two passes on amazon for consoles. They will be used, but most of them are close to-if not- package new. Relatively low-price, as well.

I'm glad they included both Jesse's and not just the more famous one besides I prefer the female Jesse. I find her voice more suitable for the character. So it feels better playing as the female role in this one. I don't find Pat's voice really fits as well as past characters have with the voice acting.

"There are choices, that the player has - there is power, that the player has, that that player has nowhere else" Come on man, we all love Telltale, no doubt - but it's 2015 and RPGs with branching story-arcs are a COMMON thing now. "No where else" - Really?? So not in The Walking Dead, The Wolf Among Us, Tales from the Borderlands, Game of Thrones or any of the other games from the same company, which basically follows the same formular as this? What about the bigger titles and franchises as Until Dawn, The Witcher-series, the Dragon Age trilogy AND the Mass Effect trilogy? No...? Only HERE in Minecraft: Story Mode does the player has this kind of choices and power within the narrative? Love the Telltale-games, but you gotta update that sales pitch! ;)

ZonatedRhyme True. I still love their way of presenting the "illusion of choice" in their games - but through the years most have become aware that their stories aren't that branching. Still really solid, well-crafted, well-written, well-acted stories, but not very branching or with any significant "player power"... So yeah, that sales pitch need an update :D

Really enjoyed the first episode, the cast did a great job, can't wait for Episode 2.

You guys are geniuses for coming up with this magnificent creation, I will miss minecraft story mode so much thank you for the wonder adventure you've given us, even if it's inevitable that you guys may never make a season 3 I will not give up hope for one because I can still see many and newer ideas for Jesse's story to continue even if I had chosen to go with petra in the end. And even if I had instead chosen to stay in beacon town.

this game seemed like it was part of my childhood. i forgot, i don’t know for sure, but i remember the characters, and olivia having the same name as me, and the first treehouse scene just made me remember it somehow. thanks anyway telltale, even now this game’s a blast and it’s definitely really humorous:)

i first played minecraft story mode and then when i played tlou i was like "wait i recognize that voice" and i was like BRUH

For the People who hate Pat's Performance as Jesse let me tell you this:they're both great in their Own Ways and give both Genders their own Personality but Pat's Performance is better because he gives Jesse the right Amount of Emotions(if you listen during Ruben's final Moments he gives a Performance that shows he is Burdened with Greif) and a more Humble Personality. Now Cat's Performance is also great because she can Play it cool and makes it clear when she was struggling some Parts(especially during Ruben's final Moments).

😭 I want a season 3 it's on my bucket list to either help make season 3 or buy telltale 😰 please telltale make a season 3 or I'll be depressed for the rest of my life

I have a strong connection to this game. It was the first PlayStation4 game ive ever played. The first episode was amazing and so the other four that iv'e played. My favorite was by-far the Episode with the Mansion (i believe episode 6) although i did not play it and had to watch videos of it. Rest in peace, Minecraft story mode and Telltale.

In this game it's full to complete all in this 1-8 eps (4K 60 FPS). It's a blockbuster.

"This is the most epic tale, TellTale has put together." that's a pretty bold statement, I highly doubt this game even comes close to The Wolf Among Us, not putting it down before playing it, just highly skeptical it could hold up when compared to the other universes TTGs has explored.

We can only wait and see what comes of it. Who knows, maybe it will surprise us. Pretty unlikely, but still possible. I personally don't think it'll be much, not high expectations on that. But hey, people felt similarly to Tales From the Borderlands and look how it turned out? Maybe it could happen again and I'll get sucker-punched in the face? Only one way to find out. >sits down and wait for time to pass

+MrDibara Personally I had faith in Borderlands simply because I was familiar with it's world & actually like it, I wasn't familiar with the world of Fables so that was a surprise but I am familiar with minecraft & highly dislike it, but because it's telltale I'm giving it a go.
