Tbh, two of those three are entirely conditional on him having enough of the necessary materials to use them, and the elytra doesn't really seem that crazy? It's nowhere near Brawl Meta Knight gliding, that's for sure.

It's clear that elytra can be fast and unpredictable, and the ability to create platforms off stage changes everything, mining placeable blocks seems to take very little time too.

Steve is gonna be super skill based. So in the hands of skilled players, it's gonna be terrifying.

@@unknownforever2198 Honestly if we do reach that point in competitive Smash, it will be fun to see how some would approach it. Never thought there would be a "stage meta" to this extent, and it will be funny to see if there's a "Steve/Stage tier list" to list off stages that are perfect for Steve and ones that you would probably want to avoid as a Steve player.

Even the weak hits of his moves seem to send at great angles, so that combined with everything else has me expecting great things from top players using this character.

@@imunoriginal382 your combo and resource management would be complex, you're disadvantage with cqc, this is the reason for Minecraft techniques are essential to outsmart Smash players, otherwise you won't become like Dream or Techhnoblade the two Minecraft best players I srsly wish they play Smash, and Smash professionals would fight Minecraft veterans inevitable! Smash tactics vs Minecraft techniques! *Block clutches, block towering axe crits, pvp traps, dropping TNT into the block ceiling, anti-falling wall, god bridging and Minecraft techniques on Smash.*

It's weird because for Smash they put the old, and most iconic, skin; not the new one (the one who don't have beard and the one that can actually blink)
