I am gonna be honest there are very few things in this I can see which go against the general design philosophy mojang uses for Minecraft related games, trailers and animations. One of the few things I would say is the lens flare is Abigail much but besides that it fits well. Like it seems like they’ve used references form Minecraft earth , minecraft dungeons and the animations they put out.

It also takes a long time to even come up with ideas, which is why modders get stuff done quicker. they already know what they are going to make

Mojang can for sure do this if they tried or were allowed to, since it seems microsoft is more focused on money instead of inproving the game. I'm mainly guessing that microsoft just isn't allowing mojang to change the game for the better or something like that. Or idk, they might just be lazy and would rather not do anything interesting because they think their fans wouldn't like it.

We actually did have a server named RealismCraft but we got it removed permanently. I'm glad I'm seeing what it could've had. Looks amazing!

Honestly, I think if Minecraft had these things, it would be 100x better: -Better/more diverse lighting -Better/more diverse foliage and greenery -Better/more diverse mobs. Having better lighting would make building so much better, and make caves and such much more interesting. Having better foliage and greenery would make forests and biomes much better and more appealing. And more mobs is never a bad idea. More hostile mobs? Another dragon? More bosses? Grizzly bear? Sharks? It writes itself and it’s disappointing there aren’t many of these in the game already.

The winter forest looks practically the same with no change to leaf texture, the dragon does not look much different but I don’t really dislike like the new texture turning it from black to white and purple, and the ravager doesn’t even look like the same creature anymore so I don’t like it. I love the subtle moving animations for mobs and think that both the wolf and and fox look so much better.

The fact that this fits so well into Vanilla, doesn't seem to disrupt the flow of the game, and was made by fans, really shows how much of a disappointment Mojang has become. They could be great, they could have truly artful additions like this, but they're simply not as good. They need to do what Valve did a while back and start letting community members make official additions to the game. 🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟
