Amazing run, Bismuth! Great combination of planning, skill and luck! Very entertaining to watch and good commentary and explanations for tricks. Very impressive. Congratulations on the World Record! :D

For those who don't know, the bed bomb trick actually does tons of damage, the same as an endercrystsl. These two are commonly used on really intense servers to kill people in god armor.

A few years ago, my friends and I were playing minecraft, and we were doing a "The Most Dangerous Game" thing. How the game worked is that there are 4 people in a 512x512 world, where one person is the prey while the others are the hunted. The prey has to get to the nether, and the hunters have to kill the prey before then. The prey has a five minute head start, and one of my friends managed to get a wood pickaxe, then dug straight down, hit iron, then hit diamonds, then fell into a cave with lava next to him. By the time we started hunting, he already had a block of obsidian. Since the hole was to deep to fall down, we didn't have time to get down there before he built the portal.

As someone who hasn't played Minecraft, that was actually a really interesting and fun run to watch! I'm glad that the donation goal was reached for it.

The rules of AGDQ is that you can pick anyone to be behind you. In Batman: Arkham City's run the friends were jerks to each other. It's nice to see best friends.

i get that this is a speed run and etc, but the advantages that he had in having a pretty much picture perfect map to start off with, with the portal room right next to him, nether camp right next to him etc, makes it a lot way to convenient. I am not even questioning the item duplication, but walking in with an already existing save state kind of takes away from it all. None of the other runners are walking in with 99% of the RNG already set in stone

I'd love to see anyone try to speed run the game with RNG fully in place. I mean, i get that you are completely the victim of RNG in a case like that, but having a save state, knowing exactly where the locations are immediately kind of takes away from that.

i dont complain about super mario speed runs because they play the same level over and over again. By the same token, I would call out a WonberBoy 3 speed run where, instead of selecting "Create a new game" they input a password code that gave access to everything in the game and all power ups with opened developer doors so the final boss fight could start immediately. Choosing a set world where literally everything is immediately in front of you isn't some sort of speed run skill. If i had the seed number i could do the exact same thing and just beat the game in short order, especially if duping.

This is still hilarious to me that Goose is in a fucking Minecraft speedrun video.
