When the structure faces south or east, it is necessary to shear the left string instead of the right. Conversely, when the structure faces north or west, you must shear the right string instead of the left. Failure to do so will result in the glitch not working.

Hello to everyone here and who are wondering why it doesn't work. Especially on my server which runs in paper on multiplayer, please do check in your folder, go to config>global then scroll down until you see "allow-tripwire-disarming-exploits" set it to "true". Hope this might helps out especially on paper servers. Happy Duping everyone! Also no need to use shears after the first part of activating this machine. Just pull the lever to start it.

This has worked a charm for me. I had my doubts but took the plunge because it’s an easy set up. With About an hour all the chests are filled and you can get 700 ish emeralds if you trade all the strong collected!! Thank you!!

i find it really useful when creators don’t specify in the video TITLE that this build only applies to a certain edition of the game👍🏽

I enjoy watching pocket edition **cough cough** I mean bedrock players think any title with Minecraft applies to them. Jokes aside, it happens to all of us, I've just learned to build stuff in a creative world to test it out before wasting even more time in my survival world y'know, like building a whole iron golem farm and then having to break it down and move villagers all over again.

It works in 1.20.4 but you have to build it in west direction and shear the right string if you do not shear the right string it dosen't work and build it in the west direction only.(I made it in mobile phone).

Stop getting string like your meant to... Just dupe it instead!

Or, 1. Lower the frames, max render, poor frames, max settings. 2. Place a barrel. 3. Leave the world fast and rejoin the world. 4. Immediately place loot in barrel. 5. Use task manager to crash game. 6. Re-open Minecraft Java. 7. It might take a few tries and timing but it should duplicate everything. (Only works on Java and can dupe everything. Even dragon eggs, netherite, notch apples & elytras)
