Tyken officially wins the award for Best Minecraft Base. I'd like to see anyone top it. Amazing architecture, interesting and realistic designs and items (ex: flaming cauldron, mailbox, dishwasher), and fantastic natural settings and views of the outside world. I'm also a lover of hidden secrets, so I love the hidden rooms within hidden rooms idea. If this were real life, I would totally live here. 10/10 if I were a critic.

OMG, thank you so much Tyken. You were the first youtuber I ever watched. I sat there every day and watched your videos on repeat for ever. I was such a noob and you taught me everything I know about Minecraft. I remember seeing the first tour, and then even at this time when you released this one I was still learning. I look back on this and remember seeing the fireplace and the builds and being just blown away! Also, I researched forever how to get a texture pack, but just for your Texture Pack. I played Minecraft and showed all my friends everything you showed me. Watching your videos gave me great joy. Thank you

9years later and this base is still one of the coolest i’ve ever seen. mega builds are cool and all but nothing beats simple realistic bases

I've modified your melon design for a vanilla server I play on so it has two floors. I've been playing so much FTB that I forgot about the joys of Vanilla. This place has more character to it. ethos is just a town underground kind of thing. I like this way more than ethos. (etho doenst build that special anyways xd)

I'm glad you did an updated version of your home. I was really curious as to how you were doing to do the changes you spoke about in the first video. I've always loved how you got the redstone to work inside your home, like the sink and fireplace, etc. Is there any way you could do a tutorial on them? Having the redstone showing really bothers me and so I'm trying to learn better ways of hiding them while still functioning.

In the alter secret room you could have mobs heads, not sure how to get them in survival but that would display sacrafice quite well :)

20:22, you can now do that using hoppers. If there's a halfslab on top of them they will still be able to suck up items through the halfslab All you have to do is make it so that the top of the table consists of halfslabs and place hoppers under them which are hooked up to comparators. so you can make it pulse when items get sucked in.
