I had the other cobblestone farm that shulkercraft also made a tutorial on. This one look way simpler, and is also a very unique looking farm. Amazing that you can share this design with us. Very good Content!

Yesterday I spent 3 hours designing my own cobblestone farm and today I saw this video with a simplier and better farm. At least I can now build this farm.

Thanks for this! Got it working after a bit of trial and error. First time did not snip the string. Then I realised I needed to add a lot more height to the top mechanism. In the end I separated the top and bottom sections by 37 blocks to get the TNT to blow up just above the lava. Working now :-)

figured it out from another comment, if you’re using forge then the string doesn’t cut right. just reload the game without forge, cut it, and then go reload again with forge and it worked for me. good luck

@@DeathReaper4040 thats weird, that didn't happen for me. if it makes any difference, i play on minecraft java 1.19.4 forge normally so, for this build all i did was exit the game, open up the minecraft launcher and update my game to 1.20.4 (latest release). it did give a warning message about loading the game in a newer game version but, the world was still there and playable. Afterwards, I just switched back to forge 1.19.4 and had no issues, hope this helps

As when I tried to do that string thing at 3:35 strings do get break and falls in lava ,they don't connect automatically, and if I leave it then when dispencer throw lava it flow all over staring and burn string hooks , could you help me

ive made the farm but the cobble isn't breaking when the TNT is dropped. Anyone else?

My dudes, idk if most of you can comprehend the speed with which this thing makes cobble. I had it on for maybe a minute, just to test and see if it was working, and I got like 8 stacks of cobble. 8 stacks, 1 minute. ShulkerCraft, you are truly a master of you're trade.

Just tried this 2nd time to my surprise it bursted . It worked perfectly fine on first time

Note to future viewers this will not work on a Paper server. TNT duping isn't possible, unless you get the owner to change the game rules.

mine did too, because i built it out of sandstone and it blew up the top bit. i made it out of cobblestone and now it works perfectly!

This can be turned into a simple do farm with a super smelter to smelt the cobble stone and use a leaver to pause smelting and take the last stone

Playing single player local world on 1.20 and the string part doesn't work when I'm using CurseForge. If I create a new installation with vanilla 1.20 and open the same world, I can shear the string and the farm works fine. What I can do, for now, is open the world in vanilla to get all the cobble that I need and then exit and re-enter back on CurseForge. I'm early game in this world and only need building blocks until I get netherite tools and a beacon. My fear is that other dupe-based farms might have issues on CurseForge. :-/

@@dracrac3010 no sadly. I read that CF patches code with strings re attaching after shearing. String dupe didn't work either. I setup an afk spot right next to the farm so i can login on vanilla. and flip the switch without moving.

@@Baugette_Warrior forge was my problem. if you're using forge, the string won't cut correctly. The problem can also be with paper servers i believe

Whenever you leave the chunk in which the farm is built always turn it off whenever u leave the chunk tnt won't dupe and explode right there

works perfectly , if the tnt isnt droping for you check the fence it might be closed / not even placed like me

This doesn't work on Paper servers, unless you set "allow-piston-duplication" to true in the "unsupported-settings" section in the Paper config/ global config.

Make sure to quickly break it with the shears - the lightest tap you can do with minecraft still registering your clicks. Dont hold the button down for even a few miliseconds or it wont work

For those having problem with strings try left clicking from different angles until it behaves exactly like in the video! It worked for me. (I am on 1.21 snapshot 24w13A) The contraption works as intended.

@@Altayus yeah thanks for suggestion, apparently it didn't work in paper server 1.20.4 I just changed the top part of the farm with another tnt duper that works in paper + t flip flop circuit which did the same thing as this video did Took the idea from this video to use water to slow down tnt falling so I don't have to build the tnt duper too high up

I built the tnt duper 5 blocks above instead of 4 because when it was 4 block above, tnt exploded before the lava and water created cobblestone so to increase time interval i did it and it worked. Is there any issue which can happan due to this ? I dont think so...

I need help the string get destroyed and then duplicated by the lava but the tnt doesn’t come out or get ignited. I don’t understand

The string doesnt stay when I click with the sheers... messes up the whole farm. any ideas how to fix it? And yes I’m playing on Forge, is there a way to load my modded world without forge?

This machine work perfectly well, only give me 48 cobbestones after it broke when string doesn't work. +1 respect
