It also happend to my single player world before, I thought it was a glitch, so I left the game and join back. But when I joined back, the icon is still at the same spot where I've seen it, so i got scared and deleted it right away :v. That time it was almost 12 in the morning

I don’t see what the problem was. All the map taker did was place item frames at the player’s base and made the game lag/crash. But all jokes aside. This was still a great creepypasta.

The Map Taker's true intention is to get to the player in real life, as said in the page on the wiki. From there looking at it in real life would do what it does in game: Crashes and kills you

All jokes aside I know this is a Roleplay but back on PS3 Minecraft 2014 I was playing alone and when I opened my map it showed a player icon another one coming towards me I checked to see if anyone joined it was just me, This was in cave on survival I was scared before the icon got to me I close the game, I tried loading the game back up but every time I did so my PS3 Froze

Yes it's creepy seeing another player in the world obviously but the funniest part is that the poor map dude didn't really do anything other than give away free maps and kinda spookily mess with the player. Which are both things I do when I play minecraft with my friends. Player just immediately went nuclear on the poor fella. 😭 I'd crash his game too!

Proof that this is real and he is not multiplayer is that when clicks the escape button on thw bottom it shows "SAVE AND QUIT TO TITLE" which is only in singleplayer.

Thanks for making me not wanna play Minecraft. Jokes aside tho, keep up the good work!
