Plot twist: In the end they actually consider diamonds the colour “cyan”..

a way to mine the diamonds its maybe grabbing some of the sand from earlier and getting gunpowder from creepers then making tnt then making the diamonds 3 blocks away from the tnt makes the tnt explode and the diamonds are unharmed
