Sadly my 0,0 is in a deep ocean so my spawn is out around 300,800 but is in a village with a stronghold and a zombie spawner under the spawn point

Well, as a bedrock player in 2024 this is pretty solid and true (and a little paranoid when first time trying) and still work after 8 months. So thank you very much for the tips❤❤

This method is amazing! To address some people's concerns, bedrock generation on Bedrock Edition is a little weird, it's exactly the same on every world in the Nether, but it's slightly different between worlds in the Overworld. The bedrock generates in a similar pattern, but extra bedrock may generate randomly. For example, I created a brand new world then went to the first coordinate in the video, but I found a 5 block long horizontal bedrock instead of 4 blocks long. The coordinates listed in this video may or may not work in some worlds, but if one doesn't work, just try another!

As someone who's been doing this for a couple of years now, I strongly recommend NOT attempting to hit the wither whilst it's in the killer (for example you have foxy's mob heads pack and say, "Oh I just will hit it once to get a wither head") - there's a high chance that you'll knock it out of the bedrock and have to kill it manually, right under spawn. If you're on a server, your servermates probably won't appreciate that ;)

How to get it out when it's health is low? I need to get the achievement

just a word of warning… dont wear throrns armor while doing this. if the withers hit you they can get out. now i have 5 withers in my nether and im scared 😭😭

@@ackeleven7_SV what mob farm? and pigman don't despawn in the nether on peaceful to my knowledge. the withers would be gone and any either skeleton magma cubes enderman ghast and blaze but I what hostile mobs of these do you need for a farm?

@@ackeleven7_SV unless you're talking about his gold farm but I feel like replacing a few zombie pigman would be better than dealing with 4 or 5 withers lol (not to mention this is mostly a bedrock thing, Java can use the end portal and kill them) and Bedrock gold farms can't be made on the nether roof

I was just done digging a large tunnel at bedrock level using your nether tunnel bore a few days ago, went over a few 3-blocks trenches like in the video and immediately found one spot close to the starting point @ -345 -37. Tested the spot on a creative copy like 20 times and it's escape-proof! Thanks soilent!

Very long comment incoming. Been testing how to find working Overworld trenches in creative as today's update, September 26, 2023. I think this logic will consistently determine where the Wither will go once spawned. It seems to always spawn at least 2-4 blocks east, so sunflowers are quite good for staying oriented. Hoping some others can use this and confirm. You need at least a 3x3x1 trench. Note if the trench runs North/South or East/West and orient yourself by placing a "temporary tail" at Y = -60, i.e. the standalone soul sand block on the South or East end of the trench. For East/West (X) trenches: - Place temporary tail on East end of trench at Y = -60. - Count 2 East, 1 South, and 1 Up. If bedrock at Y = -59, use East tail as-is (all others will spawn at Y = -60). - Count 4 East and 1 South. If bedrock at Y = -60, use West tail instead. Destroy temporary East tail (replace with skull). - If neither, bad trench. For North/South (Z) trenches: - Place temporary tail on South end of trench at Y = -60. - Count 4 East. - Check 1 North and 1 South for bedrock at Y = -60. - If bedrock to North, use South tail as-is. - If bedrock to South, use North tail instead. Destroy temporary South tail (replace with skull). - If neither, bad trench. All three examples in the video are East/West trenches using an East tail. At 4:13, he places the tail at (3, -60, 5). So if you go 2 blocks East, 1 block South, and 1 block Up from the tail, the wither's head will be stuck inside the bedrock at (5, -59, 6) as said at 4:05. I haven't run into any issues with the withers escaping from 25+ spots (yet, famous last words), but they can definitely still shoot skulls out unless you have some additional bedrock around the killer block. Omg. I'd given up on the idea of getting a beacon on my Switch. It's just so easy to lag out that system, despite watching your entities and world size, that I was afraid that all the broken blocks from fighting the wither would make it impossible on my system. I don't want to turn on cheats or set the difficulty to easy because I want to earn achievements on this world. Using a backup for safety, this looks like something that could make this do-able even on my laggy system. Thank you.

Couple things. 1. As of may 22, 2024 it works! 2. You don't have to go to the specific coordinates he listed. 3. It's beacon time

If you do it in the nether make sure you clear out a good area above. I cleared out 3 blocks above his first explosion caused tons of lava and i got to close with thorns on and ended up fighting a wither. Awesome video will be going round two as soon to get wither roses for a wither farm.

Your tutorials are always very detailed and easy to follow which is appreciated and why I keep coming back to your channel for any questions I have about Bedrock Edition farm designs. However, this one seems to be lacking a decent explanation on what bedrock formations actually work for this.

pretty much any of the 3-4 block long trenches you find will work. you'll have to find the spots in a creative world so you can try out various trenches you find until you get one that spawns a wither with bedrock above its head and to every side. simple as that really :)

I just beat the wither earlier today. I tried spawning him underground that way he couldn’t destroy anything but then when summoned he blew me up lol so I had to fight him the hard way, which was above ground. Thankfully though he didn’t destroy any of my builds as I spawned him very far away, and I was still able to get my nether star and craft my beacon. Just gotta power it but it seems like a lot of work. I’ll keep you posted whenever I power it.

I first learned about this technique from @RufusAtticus but the idea to summon multiple withers simultaneously is great. I've been developing a wither rose farm using snow golems which is relatively lossless: you can automatically shear the pumpkins off the golems as they are created and you get the snow back when the golems are killed (especially if you have them positioned over a hopper feeding into a chest). You can also splash the golems with water so that they have 1 health and die on the first wither explosion. You can build your golem generator well above the kill chamber (out of range of wither damage) and drop them in because snow golems don't take fall damage. The main issue I'm having now is positioning my golem containment chamber so that it's not destroyed by the occasional wither skull, so maybe one of the protected spawn spots shown in the video will work.

Hey Silentwhisperer, I'm on bedrock and it works, we went to the nether to try it out. I now have a wither rose and a full beacon 🚨. No problems or issues. I didn't make the room big enough so we got exploded on a few times but no damage, we have pretty good armor on. But with the explosion it exposed 3 ancient debris, bonus time! Just 'built' this using the final overworld location and it's insane how many withers you can summon at once! Dug myself a nice little room and decorated/simplified the layout with obsidian and crying obsidian. Will make a chicken egg farm on the opposite side of the room from the explosions so that I can funnel the eggs into wither rose production. Have a bubble elevator to get up and down. Going to build a wither statue at ground level to mark the farm. ;) Can't believe I'm just getting a beacon for the first time now! I should have done this a long time ago. :D

Oops, didn't realize it can break obsidian. Lol. Apparently waterlogged leaves are beyond it though... Maybe I can use those to make the soil soil placement more obvious. :)

Wither doesn't seem to summon if you 'frame it' in any way, which is kind of a pain. Also, I thought they fixed waterlogged leaves in bedrock, but I guess not, haha. I think I'll just make the room bigger and have the observing deck and elevator access above where the explosions can't reach. :)

This tutorial made me remember an old technic showcased in the Xploit server by naveynexus it used an old glitch that allowed lava lakes to spawn inside of bedrock creating natural killing chamber but I'm pretty sure it got patched anyways that was a good tutorial 👍🙂

I have an older world, maybe this is why the bedrock differs from what is shown in this video. However, it was nothing for me to copy my Bedeock survival world and make the copy creative, then just dig down to bedrock level. Once there I used TNT to blast out everything not bedrock until I found trenches deep enough to spawn whither. I tried a few times in various directions until the whither spawned in a similar configuration l, trapping it. I took a screenshot of the coords. Then deleted that creative copy and went back to my survival world where I went to that exact spot and orientation and spawned the wither after of course spawning 100 chicks by throwing a ton of eggs from shulker boxes. Using seeds I lured them near to whither, using blast protection armor, and got a ton of whither roses too! Thabks for the tip Silent!

The location for the last overworld site is -25,-60,-17. This is the block you place the tail against. I was not able to find a position to stand where I could keep placing withers in survival and not get occasionally clobbered by the beginning, middle, or end explosions.

I couldn't find anything looking quite like the bedrock structure I see pictured in the nether but kind of winged it (on hard difficulty, I may have gotten lucky) and built the wither in the nether in a 3x1x3 trench specifically at the coordinates -1/-19, -2/-19, -3/-19 on its side with the skulls in the -3/-19 position and it worked safely. I placed the top skull last and then I moved my character backwards in the -15/-19 direction as he spawned and the procedure worked as displayed on this video. Thanks for the post, I had dreaded taking on the wither on hard so it was nice to find an easy workaround.

Bedrock is placed In a similar pattern in every world, though it can vary in the overworld because it can spawn a few extra bedrock randomly, but mostly it is the same. If you get unlucky, go to the next coordinate.

if you couldn't find any of the spots on your own, here is my advice: i ended up making a copy of the world and going into creative to search for the little trenches until the withers spawned in enclosed bedrock. it took a long time for me to mine and search, but it was actually surprisingly quick to just check for the 3x3 trench and spawn a wither (in creative). i even found 3 right next to each other!! tl;dr just mine for the 3x1x3 trenches and try placing a wither (in a creative world copy) if you cant find the spots shown in the video.

Thank you works great! One weird glitch is that in our creative world we put the chickens in the spot beside the Wither and got lots of wither roses, but in our survival world we do the same thing with the chickens and not a single rose. Still, having said that, it's still amazing tutorial which we are very grateful for. : )

It worked eventually for me to poison the chicken pit to bring them down to one heart. Then jumped in the chicken pit after the first explosions and got lots of roses. The wither was still alive but collected roses before they were blown up

I just want to mention that the method at 1:17 of killing the Wither in the main End Portal still works, you just have to place an upward bubble column below it to keep it inside of it and not attack it with Punch/Knockback. Aside from that, nice tutorial!
