Actually, Mojang said that the meerkats, the ostrich, the termites, the frog, the vulture, the moobloom, and the iceologer are not completely gone, they're just gonna be added in a later update.

i doubt it they sayed that they would come in the future but they never did mojang could have perfectly implemented hovering inferno in the nether update but they never did the great hunger features were reused for the grindstone so it would not make any sense to implement to mob and also because villages are more kinda more easier to find the only ones with chance of being implemented is the monster of the ocean depths i think it could be implemented in the cave & cliffs update as a monster that spawns in the depths of the caves waters and the other one could be hovering inferno with less chances of being implemented but we saw a statue of hovering inferno in mc dungeons so the chances of hovering inferno appearing in some future update is posible. but right now i think mojang will never realase the mobs because when they sayed that they would implement them in future they after sayed that they would scrap them and will never come as same as the biomes.

“Useless” is a really weird way to spell awesome

I genuinely hate the mob polls. Not only are the winners often disappointments, but it makes the game so much smaller than what it could be, and slightly less interesting overall. And as the glowsquid situation proved with a certain speedrun cheater, they're also incredibly easy to corrupt.

@@just_a_little_guy1001 here's a comment that i made seconds ago explaning that it's difficult to make an update: making things for minecraft is hard and takes time, first of all there's how to make the idea fit in with the rest of the game, wich can take a while on its own, then there's doodeling it, modeling animating it, and programming it, sounds pretty difficult right? and that's just ONE FEATURE

Keep in mind that the losing mobs from the biome votes are confirmed to come to Minecraft at some point, slight chance to make it in the 1.20 update

So like putting their head in the sand to hide from predators means that they are "stupid". Blaze Boss would have made the game a bit more difficult, the great hunger is cute and maybe it would've been tameable, and -hentai- sea monster squid would've made oceans a bit more difficult. Cus now there's only zombies, and they're too easy. Just imagine, you're seeing a drowned, it almost attacks you, but suddenly some strange tentacle grabs him and pulls towards it's owner. And I would like to see this squid tameable, just imagine that you fed this dude some fish, and he now protects you from dangers, and brings some sea junk (like combining fishing and cats bringing stuff mechanics). Most of scrapped concepts are good, but why would Mojang add all of them? That's actually dumb. Who the hell adds every interesting mob to make everyone happy, so that'll bring more fans that will buy Minecraft? If you thought this is a good idea, you are actually a stupid kid, because Mojang doesn't have enough money (literally owned by Microsoft) and adding mobs is very hard (One modder can add 2 new biomes and 14 mobs with 20 new items in one year with 2 new dimensions as well). Why won't they just say "So yeah, here's these cool creatures, biomes etc and we're not adding any of this. After a couple of months stuff has changed and now we are actually getting the swamp biome with frogs boats with chests and more

The hovering inferno would have probably been the best since we haven’t really had an update to the Nether Fortress for a few years

@@LumTaru ye bro, think how cool it would be with lizards, scorpions, geckos, sand storms, meerkats, palm trees and oasis of some sort, also maybe a small update to the desert temple! swamps have been updated, why not deserts too? I mean, they did lose the vote but so did the swamp update, and mojang specified in that particular mob vote, they said that which biome we should update FIRST.

they said that all the mobs from the biome votes will eventually be added to the game and the iceologer and moobloom will be added to the game if they feel like it fits in. However mobs a, c, and d won't be added because they said they won't add them

I really wish they added "The Hovering Inferno". It isn't that annoying as Phantom or Kraken, but it looks really cool, his attack is really cool and most importantly he spawns in the nether so he wouldn't be such a threat through the most of a game.

Good thing that the Wild Update was announced, I’d say that it’s a good time for all (or at least a few) of these to be added!

I would so be down for the red dragon. It would be like having a piece of RL Craft in vanilla MC.

If you didn't notice, mc is updating biome by biome. It started with the aquatic update, Village and pillage, Buzzy Bees, Nether, and now caves and cliffs. Its been happening since 1.12

the swamp biome in mob vote won as well in 1.19, but the frogs looked way different then the frogs in the mob vote

I think if they decide to add dragons they should use the models of "Ice and Fire" mod. It has really good looking dragons.

They should make an update in the future that adds all the forgotten mobs.

I think 1.19 should just be a surprise where they add all of the mobs and biomes that weren’t added but were an option in votes.

Would've loved to see the Sea monster and Hovering inferno be added.

Fun fact: the new mob vote in 2021 for wild update was actually and old biome vote, tis called, the swamp biome, it has mangrove swamps, and frogs, but only veterans will know that frogs and mangrove swamps are coming back

Hovering inferno was more cool than a flying stingray attacking you at night if you didn't sleep for days

Actually, for ambient, the glow squid is pretty cool and the sparkling effects (both visual and sound) are beautiful and fit the dark of the caves Also the glowing frames are great for trophies and such things to celebrate great victories and milestones in the game!

I still want to see the red dragon be a thing, maybe as some kind of secret boss which can only be summoned after beating both the ender dragon and the wither

The swamp biome didnt get updated and frogs, treasure boats were not added then. But now in the wild update, they added all of those things. So maybe one of the mobs from the past might be added in the game in the future updates.

I wanna see an update called "The Forgotten Ones Update", where they add every mob and biome that did not win in the mob votes.

I think the Inferno Thing would’ve been perfect for the nether, as Fortresses haven’t had an update since they were added, I think.

The swamp was eliminated in the poll but still added in 1.19 a.k.a The Wild Update, maybe the 1.20 brings new mobs and biomes

The ocean monster thing was so cool I would’ve loved it

Your new Logo is great too But some wouldn't like it But as long as you are satisfied There is nothing wrong

I would like if there was a special version, where these biomes and these mobs and also forgotten blocks are existing. It would be really cool to play that.

I love ALL the shelved mobs! I love illagers and the Iceologer would be perfect and I love monsters and reptiles so that disenchanter trap with the appetite woulld be really really cool!

I definitely would like to see them add more to desert and swamps and I think the red dragon is cool but why not have a dragon type for each biome but only one biome you can find eggs and you need silk touch to move them (kinda like the dragon mod but instead of elements it is biomes)

I feel like the hovering inferno would be a cool pseudo-boss in the game like the ravager, illusioner and warden

All biomes and mobs after the first mob vote will be added to Minecraft in later updates. Like the Swamp it came in 2ed in the vote. So they are not "Forgotten".

I was so disappointed when glow squid won, it was the most useless

I would love to see dragons in the over world, imagine taming them and riding them, first for of elytra.

I love all of these, so I'll put the ones I wanted for each year. 2017: Phantoms are cool but I think that they weren't executed well but it gives you a reason to sleep. The monster of the deep sea would be the one I want although I think it should start dying if it goes to the surface since pressure. I love the great hunger too but I think it would work best as a rarer mob. 2018: Savannah, I love ostriches. I feel like giving the termite the ability to decompose wood if it spawns next to it and turning hostile or running away if you break the mound would be nice. 2019: I like the badlands a lot aesthetically but it didn't need the update, I'm biased a lot towards vultures but I think their ability would be annoying from a gameplay stand point. 2020: Moobloom all the way, I don't really like the glow squid that much. It would be cool that if you shear it and fed it a flower it would then grow that flower on it's back but then that would make buttercups harder to find if the moobloom was the only source of them. Hopefully I didn't mess up the years and canidates.

They drop Phantom membranes, they repair Elytra and can be used to make slow falling potions which are useful in some cases! And If you're annoyed, just *sleep* so you can prevent them from spawning... _easy!_
