Yes it has. I'm probably the oldest Minecraft player (47 yrs old, ugh), but I've been playing for close to 9 years now. My son got me hooked on it. But to your point, yes, time has been flying and I hate it.

Imo, while there is certainly room to debate this, I think the new capes are a good thing. While they detract from the cake of the originals, all that the originals were was a like exclusive club type thing that only so many players could get in, but the new capes open up that club a bit. I feel like they really bring more of a sense of community, in a way, which is one of the things that Minecraft is about. Fighting the new capes and all players having them is just kinda gatekeeping this exclusive club, which while it does mean the old capes are less cool, it also means that there’s more inclusion of everyone. Not only that, but it’s not like players are getting the old capes or something- the old capes still act as a status symbol of veteran players.

To me it seems like anyone that does experience. Those glitches is either extremely unlucky or their purposefully looking for them.

@@hyxlo_ I’m unsure what the 10 year anniversary cape is, if you’re referring to the founders cape then that would be caused by you no longer using the same Microsoft account as when you initially got that in 2019. Otherwise I’m not really sure how it could have just disappeared. You could always go to Mojang Tech Support

@@Cashimat Yes, I was talking about the founders cape. I got it from the founders cape skin pack in 2019. I am still using the same Microsoft account. The last screenshot I have of it was july 2020 but I’m pretty sure I lost it ~2021. Lots of other people have told me that they also lost the cape.

Helpful fact: You don't need to check every day. I always forget and you can claim several days at once. It lets you back claim. So long as you login on the last day you can still claim them all.

I do wonder if one of the surprises could perhaps be the reinstatement of Minecraft: Story Mode. It is technically playable on all current platforms, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S through backwards compatibility, and Nintendo Switch through just simply still being current. I don't see anything that could have prevented a deal from secretly have being made with the new TellTale, so could we finally get it back for old times' sake?

For one of these anniversaries(probably one of the Console Anniversaries)I hope they have 4J put all the variations of the Console Tutorial World on the Marketplace.

hey i was wondering about something, back when it first released i bought the angry birds dlc, then later on, 6 months ago, they released the "angry birds pack" which is the dlc bundled with cosmetics and minecoins, why am i unable to get the rest of this pack? personally i think i should just be able to claim the rest of the stuff from this pack for free, but even if i can't i should still be able to buy the pack right? well i don't even get the option to, i open the little box for the pack and it just says close at the bottom, which is especially disappointing because it says all the cosmetics are free on it, getting my hopes up of just claiming it all. please help or explain why this is

@WEIRDxGRIM the tiktok is exclusive from what I've heard. The Twitch and the Creeper are charter creator items, so Java might get the creeper and Twitch cape but .. tiktok is the only one dropping outside of the game as far as I can tell today but I haven't looked looked yet just a few glances .

it never said Java was, just Minecraft in general. Java isnt even really an official version, its meant for testing. Toycat also said that Java does not have a marketplace feature, and it would be unfair for only Java to get things because Bedrock is the only edition where consoles and mobile players can go.

Java is the OG copy of minecraft they push Bedrock for the simple fact it's monetized Java everything is free addons worlds abd the have way better support then anything I've purchased on bedrock market whitch is paid content with crappy support Java free addons have better support. Not to mention how much bedrock is limited because it's on low-end devices like mobile and switch so it has limits 😉 Java meanwhile only limits are the PC power you have .. Bedrock only get pushed because Microsoft makes $$ they don't make money on Java after you buy it everything is free plain and simple trying to say otherwise is just lies lol

Never thought about it before but twitch drops could be a great way to bring back the Minecon Capes. They wouldnt have the same value as the originals, but I'd argue that's a benefit to most people.

I think minecraft mote willing to give to give us capes is awesome. Especially as it's a fun bit of custmation that both java and bedrock players can have. But from what I've heard only the green one will be on java which if that's the case sucks.

The ad reminds me of the 2010's, the narrator, the music, and how the story is played out in the ad. It's like classic roblox in a sense. Like an ad you'd see on the hotel tv during vacation or on a roadtrip.
