We already have the wither. What we need is a(n) overowrld boss(es), one example would be a giant boss with an actual AI. Not a bad idea tho. Who actually fights the wither in the nether.

A good theory of mine, (even though it might be fake) called the Extinction theory, (which is associated with the ender and red dragon) is that the red dragon could have went extinct due to poaching and breeding for the pet trade creating the ender dragon which then became too dangerous to become a pet so players and villagers tried killing them off but at least 10 made it to the end but 9 of them died due to not adapting to the end which left the 1 ender dragon. So, players had to send Steve on a quest to kill this dragon. Which he killed it and caused the Extinction of all dragons in the Overworld, Nether, End, and other demensions maybe added in the future.
