Not 1 not 2 BUT 3!!! I love how they have been expanding on older features like paintings, banner patterns, wolves, discs and you could maybe say varied mobs (bogged) and the breeze being a counter to the blaze. Plus the newer features such as new armor trims and sherds. It’s nice they don’t forget the features they add in the previous update. very neat!

Listened to the 1.21 soundtrack, it's great Also I imagine that Creator and Precipice sound so different from the rest of the soundtrack because they're probably going to be 2 of the 3 music discs in this update, as the music discs generally have a completely different tone from the rest of the OST

I am guessing that Precipice (and maaaybe Creator? I'm not so sure now...) will play if you are doing the trial chamber on its hardest difficulty using ominous bottles. I have a feeling that the 3 music disk tracks have not been fully revealed yet, and we will probably hear them next week.

I like the idea that Creator once oxidized becomes Creator (Music Box) Edit: Or rather, a music box sound was produced when attempting to create Creator with oxidized copper instead Edit 2: It seems the actual case is reversed, so I guess I’ll go with what some ppl said and that Creator could just be older than the music box version made based on it. Someone else said the oxidation is where the electric guitar comes from (Precipice also has oxidized copper)

i love the idea that the music box version of the track is more like the memories of the group that created the trial chambers, and will be on the weathered copper disc, and the more amped up lively one is like you've scraped away the rust to hear the original sound. so cool to me

I really don’t think this is the case though (I might eat my words soon). The reason the second Creator says (Music Box Version) next to it is because one version is going to play regularly like other background music, while a “remix” will play from the disc

I think that creator is a metaphor for the ancient builders. The normal version represents their past, back when they were alive and well. The music box version represents them now. This would fit in with your idea, as oxidization happens over time just like the downfall of the builders.

music discs are one of my favorite parts of my Minecraft because it feels like a side objective to get them and it feels SO accomplishing when I get them all. Glad Mojang is adding more.

I just wish you could find the other disc's in specific structures, like wait in Desert Temples, or Stal in Jungle Temples, for example

For Kumi's songs, komorebi means the sunlight filtering through the trees, pokopoko probably means a vicious beating, and yakusoku means promise!

I love that they’re adding more music discs.

Hiya X, I saw the news. Good luck on your first MCC. Will be cheering you on the stream later :)

To explain the render distance: Realms Plus is on Bedrock. Bedrock edition is capable of handling far better render distance to begin with, because Bedrock can differentiate between Player-Modified chunks and non-modified chunks. In fact, non-player-modified chunks aren't even saved to the world on bedrock, keeping world size down. For servers, a couple of years ago, they introduced Client Authoritive Rendering, which means that the client is essentially rendering what it expects the non-modified chunks to be based on the seed, rather than the server having to send it over. Essentially, like "holograms", very slightly similar to Bobby mod. After testing, this was rolled out to Realms when they increased the render from 10 to 12 chunks, and with that success it's now raised to 20, with minimal hardware impacts.

@@xXsillysussyXx It really is! I've been chatting with one of the lead realms devs throughout this development process -- it takes a LOT of testing to roll something like that out. Even after roll out it took... 2 years? for this change to be made, because of small issues that took ages to fix. Fascinating technology!

I think the Creator and Creator (Music Box) will be the orange and cyan music disc (my guess is that you need to let the disc oxidize, like the copper blocks), and Precipice. Both of then have a "energetic" style similiar to the other discs, AND, usually the music disc stay at the end of the music playlists. Last point is that Kumi Tanioka already did some music for caves and cliffs, but it was for the background and her style is so calm for a music disc.

I would honestly love it for Tanioka to make one of the music disc tracks. I knew about her through Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles which has quite the upbeat soundtrack at times.

It is kind of amusing to think about the "Armored Paws" drop, a minor update, is a bigger overall update than the major 1.15 Buzzy Bees Update. Especially considering 1.15 was very focused on bugfixes and under the hood stuff, 1.20.5 is also a pretty massive under the hood/ bugfix update too. Edit: Not to say it's a bad thing, just kind of fun to point out. Overall the past few years have had pretty major updates compared to the past in general!

Minecraft should collab with xisuma for a devious trial chamber soundtrack

This mic audio sounds interesting. Sounds like it could be an improvement, but I think there's a noise gate that is tuned pretty aggressive and also some voice frequencies are cut out a little bit. Some tuning could make it sound great.

The last 3 compositions in the soundtrack are the three music disks. I think it should be obvious considering how different they are to all of the other tracks

komorebi means sunlight shining through trees, pokopoko likely refers to walking slowly (it has many possible meanings), and yakusoku means a promise, arrangement or unspoken rule.

the smooth fences on vanilla tweaks was surprisingly nice but the pot line consistency is something I've wanted for ages

With all the new musics that are added into Minecraft, Mojang should add a toggle option in the music and sounds where if toggled ON, the title of the music is displayed above the HUD. Just like when you insert a disc into a jukebox and the rainbow text appears.

For point of reference, 20 chunk view distance was what Doc used the Bobby mod in S9 to see all of the Perimeter at once. That is a space.

im very glad to see not just one but three discs; i love that they keep adding discs part of me feels like the copper and oxidised copper discs could be creator and creator (music box) - since the discs look exactly with the same middle bit but one is oxidised which could just visualise that its a variation of the same song maybe im wrong and they wont be but i think itd be pretty cool

1:55 on bedrock if you have a high enough end device you can get upto 90-100 render distance

I think they should just bite the bullet and make every track in the MC soundtrack have it's own music disc. For one thing, having a much higher number of discs might actually make it worthwhile to make Record Farms, but it's also absolutely CRIMINAL NEGLIGENCE that the best track in MC history (Aria Maths, obv) is only in Creative mode. So at the very least, that track NEEDS a Music Disc in Survival.

@@darkthaumaturge587 You really don't see any downside to adding 30 or more items with many diffirent names and textures that play music not designed to be played in a jukebox to a game with already large inventory management issues? If you want your creative music in survival, make a datapack. This is what they are for.

Just listened to Endless, really cool detail, it’s essentially a deeper sounding eerie remix of Infinite Amethyst from the Caves & Cliffs update! 👀

I really like the fact that they have been adding more discs in almost every update, and even more that they come from that updates specific structure. If we got a new trim, disc, banner pattern and painting themed around each new update that comes out in the future I would be very excited

holy, I love Creator so much its so different to the usual music in minecraft. Wish fast pace music like these played in the trial chambers but its probably going to be in a music disc

I haven't heard the songs yet, but going off of what you said about them, I'm guessing that the Black Orange and Green disc will be Precipice and the Copper Discs will both be Creator but the oxidised looking one is the music box version of it.

I think the copper and oxidized disks are the Lena Raine ones (Creator and Creator music box) and the one that has the trim is the Aaron Cherof (Precipice), it also maches the textures of the ones they made before (pig step, disk - 5)

komorebi is such a lovely concept captured in a word/phrase. Hopefully the song is just as nice :)

Hey x, you missed out on the part where there is an oblivion trial spawner.

The code for rendering the world is just so much more optimized on bedrock compared to java. I can render 64 chunks at 120 fps on bedrock. Where without optifine I can barely do 20/60

Optifine breaks rendering. Plus there's better, MODERN alternatives like Sodium/Lithium/Ferrite Core,. etc. for optimizations and Iris for shaders.

I’m guessing they are going to keep bunching up the redstone signal that each disc outputs on a jukebox, a way to be able to differentiate them would be cool, maybe you could have 2 comparators that output a different signal depending on the orientation of the comparator that way you can encode more information without increasing the maximum redstone signal.

Xisuma your audio setup sounds wildly different sounds like you have higher mids. I watched iskalls vid and heard bout the audio engineer you’re working with whatever he did it sounds pretty good.

It'd be cool to see capes for how old your account is, that way it would make capes feel more exclusive but also open to everyone since you would eventually own each cape after having your account for 1, 3, 5, etc. years.

I have a wild idea to give a use to music discs you get duplicates of. They could be used to make new potions that cause the disc you used to replace the current music that you hear for the duration of the potion. It would great for trolling as well as roleplaying

I haven’t done much with musics discs. Maybe I’ll try and find these new ones in a future episode of my series!

Funnily enough, the fully oxidized disk looks exactly like a vinyl I own from seu jorge (the life aquatic) which I can highly recommend

Right?! It feels more similar to a nether like song, like something in the vein of Pigstep. (Maybe due to the same artist.) But it almost feels distinctly different from the overworld discs, and even the other music that is going to be added to this update. (With Precipice being more similar in my own head to the Trails and Tales updates music.) Its by far one of my favorites, then again I am a sucker for a waltz.

Precipice and creator could be the music discs. That would make sense why they sound like they do. Also I think that the other newer discs were also at the end of their albums, like those two are.

Creator gives feelings of a Steampunk Workshop Waltz, by far my favorite this update!

to me it sounds like he has too much compression on his voice, which sort of smushes the audio waveform down together so that the entire audio is of similar loudness.

Do we yet know when this soundtrack will be released on Apple Music? I do feel like there was a lag time between the Spotify release and the AM release with the some of the recent updates.

The black disc with both the green and orange could be (just a cool idea), but could be where the two are their own songs and the black disc is a combination of the two, that would be very cool. But like he said, it very well could be just a disc for each artist.

once hc gets the 1.20.5 update pushed out you're gonna have to get all the wolf variants for wool street. and maybe thats a way to fix the derpy eyes with the other woolves by giving them a unique wolf mask with adjusted eye level for the different variants. or maybe you could make it universal by making the wolf snout part of the mask look more like a tie-on snout rather than the bottom of a helmet.

I wonder if we can actually craft that mixed copper disc with copper blocks that'll be awesome or just find them in the vault and pot that are in the trial chambers.

i will say i love the disc textures but the inconsistency irks me. i thought the black discs were meant to symbolize overworld which is why otherside and the original discs are black while pigstep was red. now it feels like they’re just update color themed which i think is fine they look good but it doesn’t really work with the implications of every other music disc before 1.19 that used consistency to indicate something

Imagine you could Oxidize the Music Discs in an item frame (And wax them ofc) for 3 stages.

My latest world's Spawn area is a large Peninsula~Archipelago of Savanah bioms. Once 1.20.5 dropped, I put everything else I was doing on hold and ventured out to find a pair of Armadillos. It was a great adventure and I even found a tiny Cherry Grove biom along the way! The Armadillos are adorable and by the time I got them home I has around 7 Scutes. Now I have a wolf with Red armor who I'm going to nametag Red Leader. 😁😊😁😚

I think it would be cool if one disc was the background and another was the chorus and only when you combine them into the dual-colored one do you get the full song

What precipice and creator is used to motivate players while they are in the tricky trials? That sounds like a valid way to have these more upbeat songs put in the game.

Precipice Creator and its Music Box version are the new nusic discs because the music discs are always at the end of the OST. That's why you don't think they fit in with the rest and maybe moreso with Pigstep and Otherside.
