It’s a shame that they’re not considering adding any unique vegetation to jungles besides trees, bushes, and melons. A lot of these plants look like they could fit in a jungle, especially the spore blossoms.

Fun fact: Snow golems can also freeze to death, which makes absolutely no sense considering they are made out of snow. I didn't see it being mentioned as fixed, so I guess that bug is still present. I just hope they do eventually fix it.

@@KeychainWolf I too am surprised it hasn't been fixed yet, I've seen that it has been reported by many people and I guess it will be fixed at some point. Also I agree that these mob converting to other mobs "easter eggs" or whatever you'd call them are pretty cool, especially since strays are really hard to find in game and people forget that they exist most of the time.

they should add quick sand. its the opposite of powder snow and when a zombie is trapped in it, it turns into a husk.

I'm torn on this because it'd be nice to have the option to use *green* grass/greenery in warm biomes, like the desert and savannah. :P But I wouldn't be disappointed either way I guess.

It looks like it'll fit in fairly good in most biomes, I suppose it might stand out in acacia, but even then it gives some different variety to the area

The eating time should be shorter for cookies, melons and both berries.

I think that they should incorporate sweet berries into the cake recipe, and maybe even add in a special “glow cake” with yellow berries that lights up. I don’t think you need three buckets of milk to make a cake that small. I don’t know. It could be fun for variation in something like a bakery build, and a neat way to hide lighting.

i don’t know if someone already said this but i just came up with a great idea for the skulk sensor! since each noise has a different signal strength, you could wire it so that your base would close its door or gate when it hears a creeper or something. or you could wire a village to become sort of locked down when it hears a ravager. i think that’s cool

The snowball thing seems a bit broken, I feel it should only break the top one not the whole vine

my favorite thing in this snapshot is the big dripleaf, because that would be great for parkour. it's basically like a donut block from mario: you stand on it too long, you fall. no more taking your sweet time in parkour (as long as crouching is against the rules).

I can’t help but feel like they should just call it “moss,” not “moss carpet.”

what do you mean glowing update? we only got glow squids, glow ink sacs, glow lichen, and glow berries. if anything the current name of the update should be the half not survival mode accessible update... pointed dripstone, dripstone blocks, skulk sensor, axolotl, glow squid, Azealia stuff, moss, and glow berries are all inaccessible in survival mode without cheats during the current snapshot.

What if moss golems healed friendly entities, or put some negative but non-lethal status effect on enemies

“I might accidentally hit that fox through the snow” *aims for the fox*

They should make it so normal berries can be turned into glow berries with the drops of the glow squid, just and idea probably needs tweaking or something but sounds kinda cool

Here’s an idea for a testing episode: what entities can activate dripleaf plants? I assume most if not all mobs, but what about dropped items? Arrows? Minecarts/boats?

@@mausklik3380 why? His snapshot videos normally reach an audience who don’t watch hermit craft, so it would make sense for him to try and get them involved. Can’t lose respect for someone for trying to grow their KZread channel to a wider audience

@Matt I think they are saying they lost respect becuase xisuma is "following the trend" of the dream marketing tactics, but I just find it rather amusing that even 1 million subscriber channels have caught on to the trend. Just goes to show you how big of a success Dream is (for better or for worse)

They should add Drip Leaf stem, this item will be obtainable through breaking small drip leaf and the stem of big drip leaf, when right-clicked clay or in water it will create small drip leaf, they should also remove the stem on the big drip leaf when it is in the inventory

Saw other people's snapshot vid thumbnails, but waited for this one to come out. It's incredible how X can go into so much detail, upload so quickly, upload for every snapshot and do frequent hermitcraft episodes on top of that, as well as keeping all his videos entertaining and engaging

Agree. Xisuma is a very skilled content creator on all fronts.

The redstone stuff in this update seems to make an fully automatic head farm. lightning from lighting rod makes it easier to redirect lightning and fizzing from creeper detected in the skulk sensor makes it easier to detect whether a creeper is about to explode. Adding the capability for dispenser to ignite creeper would complete this idea

you can bonemeal the moss block grow moss carpet and azalea, bonemealing mos block next to sand or gravel will replace said sand ore gravel with moss in a small patch

awww I remember I was scared of caves when playing Minecraft as a kid. I would've really liked to see the glowberries and flowers then. This is gonna be a neat update!

The Dripleaf reminds me of those falling leaf platforms in Kelp Forest from BFBB

i feel like powdered snow should act differently. instead of you sinking inside it, (that could be quicksand) it should be a trap block that falls like sand, but only if an entity walks on it. great for speed parkour.

To be clear. The rooted dirt is at the bottom of azalea trees to mark the location of a Lush cave.

I started the snapshot thinking that the lush caves would be naturally generated.. I spent an hour finding out not.

If any of you watch Phoenix sc you already know this but if you place a small drip leaf under any block including bedrock it will break when you bonemeal it

I can't help but feel like the Stonecutter needs a name change. Maybe Saw or something and make him cut Wood as well.

@@george5954 Why would a Fletching table (A table named AND textured for the use of arrows.) need to be able to do the things for wood, what a stonecutter does? In my opinion, the Stonecutter is named properly, since you saw wood, and you cut stone.

With all the new block types, I can see someone making an impressive greenhouse.

Moss carpet is a huge thing Usually, placing a light source between the grass and then placing a green carpet on it was the only option, but now moss carpet blends with the grass so it's a good option

I SINCERELY hope that the azalea log just wasnt ready yet for minecon, I would LOVE a new wood type, probably a little pink

I bet Ilmango will make farms for all these things in the next few hours.

The glow berries as a potion ingredient would be cool, spectral potions and splash/lingering potions

Perhaps you could make it so that a skeleton spawned rigged up to a powdered snow elevator you could make a stray farm!

you can bonemeal moss blocks if they are on a none grass block it will spread the moss blocks as well as well as creating moss carpets and azalea plants

You don’t need to wait a long time for a ravenger to roar. Just hold a shield and stand close. It will shake its head, roar, and launch you away.

It would be sick for the dripping mechanic added in one of the previous snapshots would be a way/the way to get moss from the spores dripping into cauldrons.

Here is an idea for the Spore Blossom: imagine if you could place it on some specific blocks and in turn it would produce that blocks unique particles. For example, if you place Spore Blossom on a snow block, it will produce snowflakes, or putting it under Nylium will make Wart Forest biome spores. I think it would be a good feature for artificial biomes or to add a specific atmosphere to a build.
