I know this might sound crazy but what if you don't know who your "authentic self " is anymore? Also, what if you don't feel supported by the people you care about when you attempt to begin a journey on a new path or a practice that they think is "silly " ? Struggling with aging and trying to find a way to accept the many changes that it brings can be a difficult journey when you discover that you really have no idea what brings you a feeling of satisfaction anymore. This video was lovely ...you are an inspiration and I wish that I had the feeling of peace and the knowledge of myself that you have.

Same here. Don't know what makes me happy anymore. Aging knocked me off hard. Feels like nothing makes sense if there's only decline from here ( please forgive the negativity, just how it is)

I think, you know. But maybeon another level. Try to think about things in your life, and observe how you feel about them. Is there anything you wish and only the thought is making you excited? Or is warming your heart? Take time to listen. Or if something doesn't feel right - how could I turn it into good; or just simply omit? I wish you a nice journey with yourself!

@@em1503 I am not old (47-48) yet, but I would think, that having a short time ahead could be deliberating: if I want to do something, I have to do it now! Let your brain just get wild and bring anything in front of you that would make you happy. Then do it! If you don't want/dare alone, find companions. Just don't feel shame about your desires or about being the oldest in the group.

Hi Connie, we live outside of Sydney Australia in a little town on the other side of the Blue Mountains. We live just on the outskirts of this town, it is a new estate but to drive there we travel through fields containing cows. We have watched cows come and cows go, and little did I realise, but my 16 year old daughter takes notice. Last week, she said "oh mum look there are a new herd of cows, please stop" and we wound down the car window and spoke gently to them at the fence. I love to pick handfuls of grass on the path to feed them over the fence as they can't reach it. Your videos make me feel so good, thank you for being there! and I hope you and your family have settled in well to your new home and area. We love visiting the USA where I have a penfriend I have had since I was 9 (I'm 57 now) and a cousin both living in Oklahoma 80km apart. Love love awaiting your new videos!!! xxxx

Connie, l have just started watching your videos and have subscribed. You are a beautiful person. The still small voice is God l believe. The bible talks about it in 1 Kings 19:11-13 and other places. God calls us to be still. When we are still, in the moment, we can hear His spirit speak to ours. Much love and peace to you. Thank you for your videos. 💕

Remember that whatever you are going through……someone….somewhere in the world…….has been where you are….and knows exactly how you feel. Nobody ever has to go through anything in this life all alone.

These are wonderful tips..I especially love the post it notes questions to ask ourselves. To stay mindful, I check in with my breath once and hour. When I am stressed, I crunch up my shoulders and breathe very shallow. By diaphragmatic breathing,I can check in with myself and be in the present. This was a tip from my physical therapist to re regulate my dysregulated nervous system.

Thank you for this! I’m graduating from college and have been a bit lost on what direction I want to take within my new career field, knowing that the first step often shapes chances at opportunities for advancement down the line… I don’t want to get stuck in a type of pathway that isn’t a good fit for me or doesn’t focus on the core passions I have for my career field! This helped provide some clarity; thank you! 😊

Beautifully stated, I practice this, but it is difficult to stay centered at times And takes practice, a lot of people go through there day not being present In the moment which is sad, there minds are elsewhere and each person Owes themselves time to reflect on the day or moment, because moments Can’t be recreated, it’s like a camera shot.🌹

I like your idea of working 45 minutes and then a 15 minute break. Can you do a video on your intermittent fasting? I’m curious. Also have you ever thought about doing a beginner yoga video? Who would know us better than the one who created us? He knows every corner of our heart, every single thought and every hair on our head. The best meditative thoughts we find in Gods word, the Bible. It gives us orientation, guidance, purpuse, true peace and joy to our soals because it comes straight from our Creator. All the beauty He lets us enjoy in the nature comes from Him and He alone deserves all our honor, glory and worship, and how often do we neglect it or even search for absolute fullfillment in ourselfs, in selflove. 》Nature is like a gift. We should not be thankful to the gift but to the giver himself! In us is nothing good that can satisfy our restless hearts. Only Jesus Christ can renew our heart and desires. ♡ You are wonderfully made - in Gods image, your creator. ♡
