    What a clever, accessible but strategic twist on ccgs,. This is an instant back on kickstarter!

    It's like Kaijudo without resources. Looks fun. I wish they went for an old school magic look though.

    This looks like it scratches the MtG itch without the MtG problems. Quick play means I can get a game or two in while waiting for players to arrive on game night. Great stream. Thank you.

    This looks fantastic. I was hoping to see more LCG/CCG games go smaller/cheaper to play.

    That's a really really cool twist. Definitely feels simple and the mindbugs feel like they'll bring around a really interesting decision point. I didn't quite get if there's 16 or 32 unique cards. If 32, that seems like a reasonable number to get to know.

    48 creature cards. 16 x 1 copy of, plus 16 x copies of. So, 32 unique in total.

    Deck construction is such a big part in card games imo, I hope the smarter card players in the community post cube lists once more cards come out because that will be fun to explore.

    At the 20:00 mark, if you had kept the Harpy Mother as a blocker, and it died, could you take control of the Explosive Toad before it did its second attack?

  • @adamobren

    @adamobren

    Yes, if you blocked the Explosive Toad with Harpy Mother. But taking control of the Toad in this instance would not allow it to perform a follow-up attack, as it would still be defeated. Since the active player (the attacker) gets to choose the order in which the Defeated triggers resolve, there doesn't seem to be much point in taking control of the Toad in this instance, unless you're planning on resurrecting it later.

    I don't think Explosive Toad is a legal target, since its power here is 6.

    The second I saw the Mysterious Mermaid I knew I wouldn’t be backing this. Absolutely hate the “swap hands with an opponent” mechanic (I know that isn’t the exact power, but it’s as near as makes no difference).

    @@jeremiahw9755 Yes, but this was a card that causes a two point switch and there's no way to counter it because even with the mind bug it would still result in a tied game. It's a stupidly overpowered card.

    With such a small card pool, it becomes worse. I love OP "win" cards, I think theyre very fun but they need to be hard to pull off.. Also the game is way too short. Its a game id play while im waiting for someone. And youre saying that irs a ccg "in a small box" but youre already planning booster upgrade sets... Honestly the problem with ccgs isnt complexity - people WANT the complex rules, its the price point.

    Oh wow, this game is soooooo random. I don't see playing this over anything on market. You either get good combo or you have brick hand with okish creatures.... And whole mechanic of taking creatures is not fun at all... "Oh i have combo but i can't play it even". Where is fun with that. My random dealt deck with random cards is useless i hope my opponent have better cards that i can mind bug... Awful design.
